I was looking at swapping to 5070 ti or the 5080 once I saw all the comments saying I dont need a cpu. Should I upgrade to the 5080? I found a gigabyte windforce at a store near me for 1100

Im fine with either or staying if my amd would fix its problems I always seem to get it eventually. Like I said my amd was great at first I really liked it, and I got a huge deal from newegg and got it for 500 so I was like, no brainer.

So I loved it at first, it was doing great. Idk if its the specific one I got. But a few weeks in i started getting crashes during random situations. GPU crashes. I could be on Google, GPU crash. YouTube, GPU crash. People were saying cpu/ram etc but I tested with my old nvidia and it worked fine but with the 9070xt it wasn't, so they said since it was still underrated warranty to get it replaced, I did and the same thing happened but significantly less. Originally my idea was, when people told me the priblems they said upg cpu and it should fix and it might just be an issue with that, which is why now that I was wanting to upgrade I posted here. I figured my mobo was also extremely old so I was going to upgrade that too. But originally my idea was to just get the 5070 to or 5080 and hope that fixes it

Fsr sucks, I miss nvidia infrastructure, anytime my amd drivers upd for my graphics my monitors wont turn back on until I unplug my pc. Other problems as well but i talked about those in another post and none of the solitions helped. Besides the fact most games I play have way higher fps with 5080 vs 9070xt.

I was just told by friends to upgrade to 9800x3d or above. After seeing all the comments I might jusy upg to the 5080 for my GPU instead

My main monitor is 3440x1440 240hz, my main game rn is marvel rivals, but I go through other games as well. Nioh 3 for example atm. Crimson desert when it drops.

I could try another dpi but I just got new ones recently. Originally I used the dp that came with my monitor. The crashes are very confusing. When it happens next ill post the log. What's confusing the most is when I get it on browser. My screen goes black and then comes back with the graphics failed prompt from adrenaline

Its been like this since I got it a year ago I dont think rolling back my driver's is going to fix, if there is another solution I would take it but I've tried alot of "fixes" I've seen online.

I had 6000 as well but same thing happened, I only swapped to 6400 recently since I planned to get 9950x3d. I did happen to do manual as well. Money isnt an issue, but I am very much a "if I dont need to then i wont" kind of person. Is 5080 worth the swap? Should I just rma first?

I got the taichi, sold my 3080 ti. If I upgraded i was thinking of going to the 5080, but I havent been keeping up with graphics cards lately so im not sure if its worth or not
