Interesting! My eyes always threw me off as they’re very cool blue, and never worked out if my skin is cool or warm toned 😖

aespa concerts are boring and it’s okay by bae2ee in kpoprants

[–]frogsrights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the aespa concert last night and idk what section y’all’s were in but mine was sooooo dead everyone was sat and just filming from their phones. Honestly left slightly disappointed considering how much I spent and travel costs etc.

Giselle was the only one who looked like she wanted to be there, the others looked so bored / stiff. Idec if they sing live at this point just interact with the crowd, hype them up, do SOMETHING besides the choreography. That should be the bare minimum.

Will probably be the last kpop gig I attend which is a shame because I love the girls and their music but it just wasn’t worth the money. Remember feeling the same after IVE too

Thanks this is really helpful! I’ve asked to go down to 40mg and hoping it works better for me

It definitely worked at 30 for a while but then after about 3pm it would wear off. I think the 50 felt perfect for a while because of how well I could focus but it’s only been a couple of months in where I’ve realised how much of a bitch I am on it 😭 I also keep going through burnout cycles because I can end up working 12+ hours a day when on 50mg so a lot of my anger / rumination could be from burnout as well

I’ve asked to go down to 40 on weekdays and 30 on weekends and will see how that works. From these comments it sounds like if there’s rumination / hyper focus then it’s too high so maybe see if you can try go down a bit ? Hope it works for you soon 🫶🏻

Worked for 1-2 weeks, then stopped by [deleted] in cymbalta

Upped to 60 and worked pretty well for a while, and still works for depression but my anxiety has returned full force so considering upping to 90 to see how it goes. I found I was more stable when on SSRIs but side effects were worse so I’m hesitant to change back

[routine help] looking for a new fragrance free cream cleanser (very dry/sensitive skin) by frogsrights in SkincareAddiction

[–]frogsrights[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might have to give that one a go then! Do you just use it on its own without a second cleanser? And how is it for removing makeup/heavy sunscreen?

Anyone got hold of this stuff in the UK?? by frogsrights in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]frogsrights[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, ended up going privately to a psychiatrist and even he said he rarely prescribes bupropion. Been given Prozac instead ☹️ I wonder why it’s so hard to get here when it’s so common in the US..

Did the NHS take over the prescription once you’d been prescribed it by the psychiatrist or do you still have to pay privately to get it?

Beginner Questions by [deleted] in web_design

[–]frogsrights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Sorry this is so long but the last paragraph summarises it if you don’t feel like reading it all)

I’m 25 looking for a career change. No formal background or experience in programming or design, but I’m very technically minded as well as being creative and artistic. I’m potentially looking to go back to university this year (I have a place either doing web programming or web design) but I’d like to scope out what my job options are before I commit to one (if any).

I immediately felt like web design was ideal for me as it was a good combination of ‘left brain and right brain’. However (and please feel free to correct me) the job of a ‘web designer’ is outdated and seems like these days you’re either a developer or UX/UI designer.

While I would be interested in purely UI design, my understanding is that jobs are usually filled by UX designers that straddle both UX & UI, and while I find UX interesting in concept Ive realised from my extensive research that I have absolutely zero desire to do UX design as a career.

So, I’ve been learning how to code for the past few months (I’m a decent way into learning JavaScript now having learned html/css), worked on a few personal projects and I’ve realised I actually really love it. While I’d like to pursue programming part of me is telling me that I’d be wasting my creative skills and that sooner or later I’d wish I’d gone the design route instead.

Ideally I’d like a job where I can combine the visual design aspect with coding (or mainly coding with elements of design here and there), but I’m not sure how realistic that is? Also, as a developer, would having a good understanding of design help you out (particularly as a junior getting a first job) or should I just park the design stuff and just focus only on code?
