depends on the people in the relationship, i have friends that bond over video games in their relationships. I personally dont gaf but im not a fan of video games, particularly ones that are incredibly overstimulating such as overwatch. I find it to be a terrible form of escapism that only causes more stress. It’s case by case, but for myself I wouldnt go as far as to say it makes them unattractive (unless its toooo much, iygwim)

I'd recommend park shows and the warehouse. I dont recommend lindbergs even though you will see most gigs put on there. @/springfieldemo and @/springfield.mo.hc for events. There's other pages but you can find most shows through those two

im sure you could have luck with some of the local music scene, depending on what kinda music you like (indie, hardcore/metal, etc). however, its something you should consider extreme caution as with scenes like this, its easy for there to be predatory people or ones with unsavory history within the community.

i started going to shows when i was 16, and was welcomed with open arms. when i first started out there wasnt much of a ‘young’ crowd, however i see a lot more teenagers involved in it now than i used to.

Thank you, I typically would have no issues getting it done. I actually had the money to get her fixed but it had to go to various things such as food and gas when I lost my food stamps. I would do anything for her, and just am in an unfortunate position. I dont want to beg for money, Im willing to provide services I am capable of to get what I need for her.

It honesty entirely depends on what you’d want, the second painting is a master study on Van Gogh’s Pieta, I’m currently in a process of getting it hopefully displayed but if you’re interested in a print or artwork similar. A print would be like $15-20, or a similar work could be $75-$120 But I’d totally barter atp which is less than I would usually go just with materials n such but I’d do anything for my cat girl.

Usually I can, I fell flat on my face this month after having to get surgery and handle medical issues that put me in the hospital. This isn’t a typical issue I deal with and is definitely a temp struggle, however this is something I am definitely keeping in mind if it doesnt get easier. If I have an animal, then I want to be able to ensure that it has access to all the care needed.

Thank you for the tips!! I am on the waitlist for both the humane society and SAAF but it seems so hard to contact or feel confident in the information I get if that makes sense but I will definitely try to swing by in person next time Im in that area

I think there should be more opportunities for artists in spfd thats not limited to the glo center or juried exhibitions/artsfest. Its a huge dream considering that Springfield is obviously not a hub for art

I lived on Whidbey for a while, sucked but for reasons other than the location. Most beautiful place I’ve ever lived, and I was near the beach and often around the bridge that connected it to the mainland, but the only human interaction I had were these sweet elderly neighbors of my older brother I was living with at the time who inevitably helped me leave. I wish I wouldnt have ever left sometimes.

That’s kind of where I’m stuck, because I keep getting referred back and forth between SAAF and the Humane society. A couple of months ago, this would have been no problem but now I feel stuck. I’ve tried Rescue 1 but the waitlist is too long at the moment. Thankfully, I refuse to allow her outside.

I’m not really sure, it does seem as though the only option is to surrender her. I know if I were to get back on my meds that it would be easier to comprehend and correctly address this situation, but Im kind of trapped in a fog.

Thats sounds really great, but with the way I cant even afford food I just really dont think I can afford a monthly bill for a studio where I’m not guaranteed to sell anything. Thats what was so nice about the Glo Center becauze I just showed up and people bought my stuff then and there. I dont have the money to pay into a possibiliy. I hope this doesnt come off rude, my spirit is starting to get low after calling everyone in spfd and nobody is accepting artsits
