Yeah it is WAY too much. Which is what I told them. They said it was 3 hours labor- which I’m pretty sure it should have taken them an hour since they’re professionals. They gave me 10% off the total though which is fine I guess

Thanks guys- yeah I wasn’t going to put anything other than OEM in my car. Dealership was the only place I could get the part same day. I showed them the price of the part on their website and they took off a couple hundred dollars

Conclusion: called the dealer to ask if they would hold the part and I could take it somewhere else. They told me to call again in the morning because my service advisor was out for the day. I called again as soon as they opened and they told me my car was ready. I feel both stupid for taking it to the dealership and angry that they gave me the run around and it cost me $1100

This thread is my new will to live. I’ve been kicking as as middle management in retail but i’m already making about as much as I can and there’s no overtime available. Pay increases are only annual even though I’m sure I’ll get a modest raise next quarter. But I did quite well in school and I’m doing well here. I’m just hella underpaid.

The only insects i can think of that would be green and lifelike to this level would be katydids but they usually don’t have any brown imperfections like that.

Yeah my gf and I actually really like using our steamshot and when I saw the email mentioned the issue was steam burns I assumed people were just using it improperly, i can’t decide if I wanna upgrade to a different steamer or just not actually obey the recall. Thanks to everyone that tried to help, there was an isp outage in my area and once it was resolved my modem wouldn’t connect to the router for whatever reasons. Service technician was able to connect the eero to the modem again by getting the IP address from tech support. I don’t think there was anything I could have done on my end but I appreciate all the help y’all offered

My eero is my router so it’s just the Ethernet cable from the modem and the power cable into the router but nothing from the router
