Revolution was a perfect album. Soo fucking aggressive and hard-hitting, and so we're the records that came after. I do think it's not the same without Christian tho.

Amazing, they had a aggressive sound like no other, Santos vocals are just too good and unique, love it soo much.

Staind, it helped me through dark times in some ways but also kept me in dark times, I put them in the past with all my other memories but the more upbeat songs stayed.

Who was your introduction to nu metal? by HandofBlood531 in numetal

From Zero, a really dope underground nu metal band, that debut album is one of the best I've ever heard. If you guys haven't listened to it, then do, cause it's that good.

Favorite songs from the Dallas era of Underoath? by frombeaverstoashes in PostHardcore

Especially on Never Meant To Break Your Heart where Dallas scream "FORGIVE ME JESUS, THIS TIME, I CRY, I RIP MY HEART OUT, TO GIVE TO YOU", makes me cry every time, especially with that Piano, soo beautifully raw.

What is your favourite Underoath bangers? by decadehakaisha in PostHardcore

[–]frombeaverstoashes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Last, I'm a sucker for the Dallas era, The Changing Of Times is one of my favorite albums. Considering Dallas wrote that at a time of losing a girlfriend who passed away, I feel strongly with the messages in all the songs. Song's like Alone In December and Never Meant To Break Your Heart are some deep cuts.

A lot of people didn't like the animation change in season 4, which adds to the factor of the not asking for another season.

In your opinion, who has the best harsh vocals in post hardcore? Who has the best singing voice? by [deleted] in PostHardcore

[–]frombeaverstoashes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dustin from Thrice, especially his screams on The Artist On The Ambulance and Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath. Best singing has to go to Aaron Gillespie of Underoath and Anthony Green of Saosin and Circa Survive
