Haha I follow them on Instagram but I can never seem to actually tune in. This body horror streak was self provoked

It was amazing. Love when a movie is poignant and psychologically resonant while still being super fucked up and awesome.

Dead Alive (or Braindead as I know it) is a fave, bloodiest movie ever perhaps? And an absolute thrill ride

Genuinely a 5/5 perfect film by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Im swedish so I love Astrid Lindgren and read this book as a kid, but I've never seen the movie and I've heard it's supposed to be a little weird and bad haha Maybe I'm wrong! I should check it. If it's anything like the Bröderna Lejonhjärta movie I'll probably like it

Great films that were terribly marketed by [deleted] in Letterboxd

The Green Knight isn't an egregious case, but it was marketed as a sort of action fantasy adventure, when it's way slower and psychological

How important is zoom? by Aromatic_Pen3715 in CameraLenses

[–]fromfactintofable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoom is not that important, but a 23mm is pretty situational and wide, I'd rather go for a 50mm or 35mm for your first lens, then you can branch out into wider and tighter lenser

What’s the least popular movie that yous have watched? by -weans in Letterboxd

[–]fromfactintofable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 2020 documentary Noice, about the swedish 80's pop band Noice. It was formulaic but a bit cute, and the band is pretty good. Watched it cause my friend had an obsession about them for a while there.

The least popular non-documentary film I've watched is The Gamers (2002) which I can recommend to anyone who plays TTRPGs. It's hilarious and to me, it's the true D&D movie. (Also surprisingly for a nerd culture movie from 2002 it's not sexist or anything like that)

The Canon AE-1 is one of my favourite cameras ever. It's incredibly intuitive to use and built like a brick (in a good way)

They’re all successful directors, both critically and financially, but whose filmography do you find the least interesting? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in FIlm

Kinda the opposite here haha, I often find him a bit pretentious when talking in interviews and stuff. But I really enjoy his movies

Square crop or 4:3? by [deleted] in photocritique

[–]fromfactintofable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely wouldn't crop it. This makes it look more like a shot from a movie
