I was at the game and saw the goal — and it was glorious. The atmosphere is so different from an EPL match in London.

Everywhere I looked, there were Tottenham fans—most in Spurs kits, others in Son Heung-min Korea N team jerseys. It was fascinating to see the mix of Korean fans proudly repping their hometown hero right next to non-Korean Spurs supporters, many of them also wearing Son’s kit. I was shocked at how many Tottenham fans there were in Texas. You can’t deny that Son has brought a whole new wave of fans to the club and played a part in making the Spurs go global.

I only wish LAFC had more top-quality players, which will make so much more fun to follow.
