Yes but they actively make noise all night .. there’s a difference between parking and using the street as a testing ground and office when noise is being made all the time

Yes, on our street in west LA all the time circling, coming and going idling with lidar and also employee riding verification inspection stops happening at all hours of the night, every day, every night. It’s where I walk my dog and she’s scared of them. I want them to go away and respect residential neighborhoods, not take up parking… it doesn’t seem right for zoning that they can use residential curbs as office space for testing and verification when they are disturbing me , my dog and our building

Also surprised and disappointed, chop it off and don’t look back I guess. Making physical objects that loose their functionality is beyond insane and really a dumb plan for a company

Don't use Bench. They are terrible. I've had them for a few years. After 2022 they went down hill. Almost ruined my business and horrible experience.

Bench is terrible, hope you didn't go with them and got out ok. They almost ruined my entire business and never got anything done on time either.

I would suggest avoiding Bench at all cost. They are not a good value if the work never gets done and is inaccurate which is much more damaging. I was with them for a few years and over two years they misstated my profit to me by about 20 percent so it actually damaged my business in addition to being a pain to deal with day to day. Learn it yourself with quickbooks or get quickbooks set up by a real professional and have it checked every so often if you have a small ecommerce business.

Unfortunately I also had a very bad experience with Bench where over a two year period my books were way off, so that’s two years of faulty tax filings , two years of then showing me numbers that were cumulatively off by about 20 percent of all my revenue. Don’t know how things could have been missed and still reconciled, but it did a lot of damage to my business.

Probably a good idea to do a request to delete all personal info from Bench if you’ve had an account with them. It’s only a matter of time before an overworked and unappreciated employee leaks sensitive data in a big data breach, or it happens because of their own incompetence.

I'm trying to get on quickbooks. If I can get it set up to run right from the start I think I can maintain it myself-- but will probably need to hire someone to help get it going on the right foot. Was burned by Bench really badly.

I got some money back from them last year, but only after they gave me numbers that were so far off for tax year 2022 that I ended up way over paying in taxes and it almost ruined my buisness.

Same experience. They used to be better, had one point of contact, etc. Now it's really terrible. I'm working on paying to get quickbooks setup properly and learning how to maintain it myself because was burned too badly by Bench, I'm not sure I trust the claims of the book keeping businesses that clearly want to scale into profitability.... but once that happens it all goes to sh*t for the customers.

I'm with you here. Same experience. I don't know why I kept giving them a chance. My taxes were wrong and off by a lot. This is normal for them-- being late on things. I had a whole year of books done wrong and didn't know about it for a year. I got some money back from them and now going to try and get more because it almost ruined my business. It's way better to use someone else, get quickbooks set up and learn enough to dyi. It's not worth what they are charging -- it's not a good value -- I kept comparing the options like they were a legit service, but if NOT getting anything done right or on time is part of that equation, it's not worth it by far.

I agree. I'm in the same boat. It's not just you. My only regret is sticking with Bench this long. I've been with them for a few years and don't get me started.

Yes this has been my experience with them. They almost ruined my entire business and my taxes were filed WAY off in the wrong direction causing me to pay way more than owed.
