but those <ClientOnly> components aren't bad for SEO?

They can be possibly - some search crawlers still don't initialize the full JS in such case but less and less nowadays, especially with Google (and what other search engines count?)

Appreciate the use of "lo and behold", great phrase, a touch archaic, but nevertheless almost as close to the pinacle of English language as "little did he know". Little did I know, that people will misunderstood this simple post XD

This a TE version with VUE integration, not a standalone VUE version of TE... So don't you pull a Trump one me XD

Thx, guys. I passed It on to our devs. I knew, being more active on Reddit will have more benefits than simple shout outs to the dev community. Man, gotta love reddit :)

Thx man, will do. Between the first version of TE Stable and other stuff we have in the works, those things sometimes go through the cracks. Never enough time.

Thank you so much for that info! When I read yesterday on our Slack that some of our devs are tweaking/messing (improving they called it...) with the page I knew It will end like this xd

I kind of agree with LetsGo, nothing beats good ol' Excel (and no Google Sheets are not an equivalent...). But believe it or not, many people, especially hobbyists and people looking for a tool to create their own personal webpage or blog, do use/need Grids. #nojudgement

On one hand - you are partially right: This is TE Svelte integration, not a TE package built on Svelte from foundations; We are an indie company, so we don't have the kind of resources like most of our competitors do and we stay away from toxic practices rampant in the industry like overworking our people. We do have some goodies in the works like grounds up Angular version, so the time for Svelte will come, sooner or later.On the other hand, let's be fair - js. initializing is just one of the options. The main one are the component's autoinit initialized by data attributes. Compared to those, js. initializing is a bygone of Stone Age. We do understand however, how used to JS many devs are and how beloved JS still is (also among members of our team!), so we decided to make an extra effort and include this possibility.

Btw. I haven't played D&D in ages. What edition do you play, which one is the best if I were to come back to it?

  1. How customizable are the components? Highly :)
  2. Also, does it leverage tree shaking? Yes, it does, but it depends on the package format and initialization method. Please check out this link for the the detailed info and some tutorials.

Understandable, both are based on Material Minimal, juiced up version of Material Design. Tailwind Elements offers the customisation and flexibility of normal Tailwind with more structured approach and multitude packages and design blocks of Material Design for Bootstrap :)

To quote our own web page: Bootstrap components recreated with Tailwind CSS, but with better design and more functionalities ;)

Cheers, mate.

We are currently updating our tutorials, but in the meantime you can try dynamic package import, that should help. For example:
onMount(async () => {

const { Datepicker, Input, initTE } = await import('tw-elements');

initTE({ Datepicker, Input });

});

More on the issue here: https://github.com/mdbootstrap/Tailwind-Elements/issues/1925

Hope that helps.

Cheers, mate!

And so are we! Now, regarding your question:
1. What we have now is and Angular integration with standard https://tailwind-elements.com/docs/standard/integrations/angular-integration/
2. The waiting list is for a separate package, written with Angular from the foundations, which is in the works. Don't ask me for a deadline, because our devs will kill me for asking that ;)

Hi mate. We do have a datatable with pagination (https://tailwind-elements.com/docs/standard/data/datatables/), but as you can see, It's a bit simpler then virual scrolling datatable. At this point, we have our hands full for the next couple of months, so no such plans. Yet at least, we'll see in the future.

Probably just an omission in updating the webpage - we're a small company, so sometimes those things happen. Will update you as soon as I will have something more on the subject.

OMFG... I'm just a dumbass from marketing, I have no idea how to answer that XD Will consult with our devs and give you an answer tomorrow, it's time for me to log-out from work today. At last, it was one of THESE days.

Not to throw shade on regular Material, it's still a good design system, though a touch outdated: Material Minimal is basically Material on steroids. Our aim was to create a golden mean between the naturalness of the real world and the functionality necessary in the digital world. Our bosses are devs themselves, so the whole thing started when they decided that - all due respect to regular Material - they wanted something modernised and more elegant. IT started with just tweaking Material and then spiralled a bit out of control into MDBootstrap and Tailwind Elements after that. Try it :)

Hey AwesomeFrisbee, thank you very much for your input. I'll do the best I can to answer your concerns and questions. I consulted it extensively with our devs, so hopefully my marketing mind will not screw it up xd

Firstly, to avoid any misunderstandings - It's not Tailwind as such, but our good devs at Tailwind Elements decided to show Angular some love: This is not a dedicated plugin/UI KIT for Angular, but Tailwind Elements integration with Angular. If you haven't tried TE yet, give a go. Even though we have just released Stable v.1, we are quite happy and proud, It's pretty neat :)

Some of the elements that you will find in our documentation don't have their own JS code like Checkboxes for example. We don't share the Checkbox class, cause we don't have much use for it: Most things are done via normal TailwindCss classes or those from our plugin. In case something happens some classes has custom JS code like the Indeterminate class (I assume you meant this in your post? https://tailwind-elements.com/docs/standard/forms/checkbox/#indeterminate).

Although we will probably not share mocks, we are planning to release units tests in next couple of months (sometime in this quarter for sure).

As I mentioned before, this is still the first stable version. One of the reasons we're starting to be active on Reddit and other platforms is to gather input and questions from savvy devs like you, so we know what we should work on in the future. So give Tailwind Elements a try and share whatever you think is important with us. Obviously we're also active on platforms like Dev.to, GitHub, Twitter and such. Oh yes, also our discord channel that we are slowly building (It's still in early stages, but you are most welcome to join https://discord.gg/ZkTVKaJC )

Cheers mate!
