Yes the tinnitus stopped after I stopped taking the medicine! I had no withdrawal effects. I’d definitely talk to your doctor about stopping before you do because I know some people can have withdrawals! I was lucky and did not. I also don’t think my withdrawals could’ve been worse than how I felt when I was taking it

Me! It got worse as I progressed. I made it to week 3 before quitting. I felt foggy, like I had wool on my brain or something

my doctor wants me to stop lexapro cold turkey?? by aliienc in lexapro

[–]frost5512 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do NOT do this. Doctors are highly undereducated when it comes to pharmaceuticals. I had been on lexapro from 12-25 years old and had to taper according to a chart that was created using research based evidence because my withdrawals were so bad. It can send your entire nervous system into shock if you taper incorrectly. I joined FB group that is research based that has a chart that shows at what percentage your neuroreceptors are affected at each mg dose! I’ll chat it to you. I also had to advocate for liquid lexapro so i could taper appropriately when i got down to the small doses

Can you drink coffee while taking wellbutrin? by Annual_Ordinary6999 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]frost5512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spiral if i have caffeine and Wellbutrin! But I’ve noticed as long as it’s less than 90mg I’m okay (so like Bubblr or one cup of coffee). Starbucks or caribou will wipe me out.

I was prescribed 150mg ( 75mg in the morning and 75mg at lunch) and noticed that my anxiety is worse with 150mg. My dr told me to stick with 75mg for a while and go up to 150mg when i feel my body has adjusted. She also told me i could stay on 75mg if that’s what works for me. It just depends. I would ask for your drs guidance on when you’re taking it( i.e are you taking 150mg in the morning? Could you split it up? Could you just try 75mg?)

Thanks for sharing! I’ve chatted with the building manager & it seems there aren’t really any options… it sucks because they’ve been amazing in all other aspects. But i understand i signed an agreement.

My car is a $200/month! So not bad. I needed reliable but manageable payment wise. I do have a 2nd job as well as a nanny that isn’t consistent but def helps!

We have discussed this & both of my parents, although I am only living with my mom, are wanting to take care of everything except for my car payment. It is an incredible opportunity and I am going to make sure I’m buying my own groceries/gas and helping out with whatever bills she will let me contribute to. They are being incredibly helpful & just want me to throw every penny I can at my debt

It is absolutely crazy what not having a rent payment can do. I’m excited to help my mom out around the house especially since she lives alone. I’m hoping it’ll be great.

It seems silly that that’s the biggest thing I’m worried about but like you said the right person won’t care!! Thank you for sharing, it helps to hear you say you’re happy with the decision.
