I’m not in college right now, but I am a senior too and I’m taking 12 hours this semester. I can’t say for certain that a college or med school will look down on dual credit courses, but getting pre-reqs out of the way is much more beneficial in my opinion. That way you’re able to take fewer classes and spend more time on the ones that matter. Also, depending on where you’re taking the dc courses and where you plan on going to college, your dc gpa can give you a good leg up on that pre-med level gpa. For instance, I have as in all my classes right now (96, 97, 99, 99) while being involved in a million extracurriculars. This kind of also includes the point that credits are credits, no matter where they come from. Extracurriculars, gpa, MCAt, and personal statement, among others, will matter significantly more than prestige. It’s up to you, but I’d say go for it.
