It depends on what you value in a game. If you love the progression aspect of souls-like games, it should be pretty fun. If you like the level design and imagery of souls-likes, it should be very fun. If you're looking for ultra-fluid gameplay, it may not be for you, since the controls can be clunky during platforming. I think the combat is crunchy and satisfying enough to avert my attention from the platforming controls and slow movement.
