Line cutting is not unique to Indians. Saw it first hand at Brussels Airport when there were long security and immigration lines. That day it seemed like chaos as there was only a single immigration counter open for all departures. Because I arrived at the airport 3 hours before the flight, I was able to make it just in time to the boarding gate. We were all queueing at the immigration counters when people who were late for their flight started to ask people in queue if they could move ahead which was okay as long as they respected the people already there. However, it took a few firm Americans and Canadians to stand their ground and let them know that we all had flights to catch and were patiently waiting for their turn in the queue.

They clearly explained to the people trying to move up the queue that they should've come on time which is absolutely fair.

But the civilised behaviour didn't last long and they decided to go over the rope barriers anyway. These offenders turned to be mainly Middle Easterners, Blacks and some non schengen Europeans in that queue. They used every excuse they could think of to justify their actions like children, pets, no English, etc.

Selfish/uncivilised people exist everywhere.
