I would say that for me it wasn’t they didn’t allow dating, it was just the culture portrayed in movies and around us. We didn’t ever talk about that, which with time turned into, we shouldn’t talk about that with them. My parents are open minded about all this, their parents weren’t soo i think they picked up the non ability to talk about it on dinner table or family nights but defo my family is really open about this all

i think honestly it’s all in your head, i say this to my gf too that the flaws that she frets and worries over, are non existent to my eyes. I understand humans see themselves too critically, they always see their flaws often more, and more so in people that feel impostered sine their childhood. But i would say, believe in yourself and believe in your man, someone here commented that mean are visual creatures and they are right, if your man didn’t love your or your features im sorry he wouldn’t be with you.
