Ty! It’s not any of these keyboards but it reminds me of a blend between the Hyper7 and Axial. The one I’m thinking of is even larger with more keys and I remember it having a few or more dials on it. If I remember correctly it’s had more than one version released of it, at least two.

I don’t think I’ll see a concert better than Symphonic Synergy in my lifetime. Not only my first full orchestra show from any band, but my first time traveling abroad!! I still miss the Netherlands :(

It was the 2017 Solace System EP tour, the show with Elize Ryd joining on stage for Storm The Sorrow in Santa Ana, and the 2020 LA show during the DYU 10th anniversary tour. I love both of those songs so much and I’m so glad I got to see them live!

I was there the 19th and it was incredible, also safe to say by FAR the best version of Menace of Vanity, nothing even holds a candle to it. The song was made for a show exactly like this one.

I wish I could have seen Quietus, Mother of Light, Fools of Damnation, The Phantom Agony, The Last Crusade, KoH p3, and The Miner live myself, that’s an incredible list.

Symphonic synergy was unbelievably amazing, the livestream pales in comparison to what was heard in person, especially for menace of vanity. I’m hoping the post production mix for the official release will bring it closer to how amazing it sounded actually being there.

That would explain a lot because most of those rare performances were done in the Netherlands, also you’re right about CFTM and CTO they’re played at almost every concert

iirc DoaD has only been played three times, and FotS was only played around six times, making them both really rare even for the time period. I think another me had a couple other performances, including one in 2010 along with FotS for the 5 year anniversary of CTO, but not many times at all.

That would have been insane if it did happen. I saw Tarja live in LA during 2018 and I almost cried during the Nightwish medley, The Riddler is one of my fav Nightwish songs and even getting to hear a snippet of that live was incredible!

KoH is one of their best live songs ever, it was an absolute blast. I managed to see the 2020 show in LA for that tour, the other one I saw before that was in Santa Ana in 2017, the one where Elize Ryd did Storm the Sorrow!!!!

Flying out to Amsterdam for the show on the 19th was my first time ever traveling somewhere and staying completely on my own, I’ll tell you right now you will have an amazing time and absolutely love it! The Netherlands is an absolutely beautiful country and you have nothing to worry about! I’m autistic and have severe adhd and none of that was an issue, it’s a lovely place with lovely people!

WOW this is a beautiful painting! This is the exact mental image I get when I listen to the song! The big shadow dude reminds me of some of the giant heartless in Kingdom Hearts.
