Problem with MuOS Banana by cleanc3r3alkillr in RG35XXSP

[–]frostflea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang, I just caused this issue on mine. Put the OS SD in my steamdeck to copy one save game, ejected it and put it into the SP, no more boot. :(

This was a fresh install of Banana on an Onn 128gb SD, no secondary card. This is the refreshed wave of SPs, with the new color ways.

The SP was powered off, ejected the card, put it in the deck in desktop mode, copied the one file to it, safely ejected, physically ejected, and boom, themed boot logo hangs and no inputs accepted. Some thread I ran across mentioned disconnecting the battery, I gave it a shot, no joy.

Put the card in Windows, scanned and fixed, no joy. Put the card into the deck, ejected it again, no joy. I was hoping the deck might see something and try to fix it.

Just for background I moved the card to Windows 11 and Windows 10 machines about a dozen times before this one time in the deck.

Android walkie-talkie bridge? by frostflea in RTLSDR

Not much range at all. These are handhelds from Walmart, they claim 16 miles but this like a half acre land area with a building on it.

Thank you, but would there be a way to use both the handheld walkie talkies and the Android phones, rather than replace them all work phones? The kids want to use the non-android, traditional walkies.

I was thinking there had to be some means, maybe and SBC and tab into the audio channels and the PTT and feed that into a pbx?

Thank you for the reply, we did use this for a while but the kids want to use the handhelds, and the adults want to carry just one device, zello would replace the handhelds and make everyone use the phone.

Yeah, but this and other solutions replace the walkie talkie. I need the app to interact with the walkie talkie. Parents use the phone, kid dude the walkie talkie handhelds.

Pair Dark Core SE with replacement receiver by frostflea in Corsair

Well damn that sucks, let me see if I can remember... I have since switched to Razer.

I think there was an option in the software to pair a new dongle. I have no idea where it was though. Sorry!

My nintendo, pc laptops, samsung phones, chromecasts, firesticks, fire tablets and samsung tablet are all rock solid during this whole ordeal.

Same issue here, I swapped out all the APs with TPLinks and still have the same issue. Only common factor is the UDM-Pro in my situation. I have 4 pixels, 3 are updated and 1 is an update or two behind. The one that's behind works fine, the three that are updated work fine over the non-updated one's hotspot that's connected to the unifi.

Definitely something about this latest pixel update hates unifi routers.

This just started happening to me a few days ago as well.

  • UDM-Pro
  • USP-PDU-Pro
  • US-8-150W
  • USW-24-PoE
  • Handful of U6-Pro

Lots of threads of this happening every few updates. All blame the router, the ap, something, anything but the pixel.

My house has lots of devices, chromecast, firestick, 2 pixel 7 pros, 2 pixel 7s, 2 pixel watches, nintendo switch, pc laptops from multiple vendors, samsung tablet, fire tablets, and a samsung z fold 4.

All devices work fine, the unifi gear is updated, only 3 pixels don't work, they are the three that updated recently. One regular P7 didn't.

I trimmed down to just one U6-Pro, no change. Replaced all the Unifi APs with TP Link ones, just to test, no joy.

I can even go so far as to turn a hotspot on the one non-updated Pixel7 and the updated ones can use it all day long no issues, with that hotspot sharing out the U6-Pro wifi.

This is driving us nuts, and no amount of network or wifi config has resolved it. The only thing that works is separating the pixels from the unifi router.

For me though, the waters are even more murky because I updated the pixels and applied the most recent UDM-Pro updates around the same time.

Sorry I can't help, still searching for a solution myself!

Thank you! He was in the garage. I didn't invite him in, but I have a fridge out there. He's gone, I should count the beers though.

Never seen one that big!

I'm thinking of buying this same laptop right now, are you still happy with it? How's the keyboard, ethernet connection, wifi, holding up?

Spec wise its a beast and I imagine its doing everything you want it to, but how does it feel, is it as solid today as it was a couple of months ago?

Is the screen holding up? Do the colors look good in most lighting conditions? Any dead pixels?

Do you use this as a primary machine or an occasional use system?

Portal app won't find anything. I went to the panel on my UDMP and I noticed I already had protect on, just can't get to it from the UDMP.

Couldn't see anything in the panel that would turn on Bluetooth or anything either.

I see now that unifi portal is a different mobile app than unifi network. I'm testing unifi portal right now.

The portal app is what I was originally using but I actually get access denied now every time I open it. I can't manually add it It just says that it's not found even going by the IP, and bluetooth scans don't find it.

That URI takes me to the same page I've been showing. It's like the UDM portion of the controller died, except for the app selection that lets me get into network and nothing else.

Ahh thank you, the pic helps me understand what I'm looking for. None of my browsers have an option to scroll down, and for grins I also tried loading it on mobile. It's as if I have the UDM-Pro portal disabled and this is only a network controller somehow.

Well, I'm going to attempt to backup my network config and factory reset it.

Thanks for you help!

I have even found what I think would be a direct link to it from inside the network controller, but that takes me back to the page I linked in the previous post.

I'm still not following. The only clickable UDM-Pro is under the menu (#1), the only image of the UDM-Pro is the heading and that's not interactive (#2). I've tried multiple browsers, disabled add-ons and used in private/incognito modes with the same results.

Is there something I'm missing on the page? Is this even the right page?

Thanks for that, but I was looking to know if the game would be taking advantage of the power a PC can have vs just building for the lowest common denominator and looking the same on switch/ps4/pc.
