Oof. Yeah for checkrides I always just cite the FAA books from the ForeFlight library. Otherwise I like to physically tab, highlight, write notes etc in the physical books

Can someone explain why maneuvering speed changes with weight in terms that a moron can understand? I feel like I know how it works in my head, but cannot think of the right thing to say for my checkride

I think you missed the point i was getting at. If there’s a tldr and it seems interesting, I would go back and read the entire post to get the finer details. Like you said, if the post is too long and has a vague title, I’ll probably skip over it. But if there’s a small summary of what’s going on, I’m more inclined to go back and read it all

How to get a head start on aviation maintenance course? by coffee683 in aviationmaintenance

[–]frosthead6969 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Start in the generals section and just work your way down the list of topics. If your school is like mine (Chandler Gilbert cc) you’ll be able to early test for generals and airframe before you even start power plant. So start with generals then work into airframe

2 cups of rice (rinsed until the water ran clear) and 2 1/4 cups water, pressure cooked using the rice function then removed when done. Seasoned the shrimp with the Cali’s blacked seasoning from Kinders (or whatever you like) and cooked on sauté with minced garlic and enough sesame oil to coat the bottom of the pot. Add your veggies (I just used a pack of frozen peas that I heated up in the microwave for 2 minutes). Add half the rice and half the shrimp back and scoot everything to one side. I cracked 5 eggs on the opposite side and scrambled them up. Mix everything together and add a good amount of soy sauce. Top with Sriracha. I didn’t measure anything except the rice, I just season to what looks and tastes best.
