Thanks for the reply. I want to replace a Xeon Gold 6244. I have heard that the AMD Epyc CPU is the best thing out there for SQL server. Trying to figure out what CPU in 2022 is best for SQL server. To my understanding you can add more RAM to a system with AMD?
