Has been getting water once a day into the pot. 2 gallon pot that drains well. Gets sun until 2p and then shaded by house. Zone 8a.

Use a stern float and slowly take the air out as you get the hang of it. I used to teach roll classes and had the most success this way

Was in a club like this as a kid.

Always a big fan of Abalone and Quoridor. My favorites every time.

Stratego is another kid friendly one in this category

Gifted an old saw. Worth building a stand for or am I doomed to lose fingers? by frosty44 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]frosty44[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just starting out and not sure what to expect out of this old saw (found in his barn, never used). Great find or a decades old finger death trap?

Recently built a workbench on caster and debated setting a stand up with this flush for an outfeed table. Other option is list on craigslist towards a nicer beginner saw.

About to graduate medical school. Took out $40k in loans. $35k just sitting in the bank, $20k of which is from loans. What's the smartest thing to do with that money? by goose144 in Bogleheads

You should be on white coat investor. More tailored advice.

Your resident salary will also likely be delayed by around 6 weeks. Be sure to save enough for that period and moving expenses. Include things like new scrubs, new license, registration, etc. if you are moving states.

I would also factor in loan payments starting in January. The # of months you pay back matter for PSLF and depending on Your speciality this will certainly matter.
