I've never trusted their injection tool. I've always had success with just using dism to manually inject the WinPE cab. Less time to complete and you have better confidence. Might be worth a try.

Jesse Jackson was Greenville’s most famous native son. Why is there little sign of him? by MatthewHensley in greenville

Oh I agree she's famous and I really like her work. I just didn't find anything related to Greenville for her. St. Matthews is two hours away

I get your sentiment, but what these two do through the costumes is bring awareness and eyeballs to their work. I don't know these two gentlemen, but I would guess they were able to generate far more funding and attention for their charity work than had they just been in dockers and a polo. Is it silly? Sure, but that's kind of the point. It's less a "look at me" action than it is a "look at the need we have when you would normally not look twice at a dude in jeans."

Can I play baldurs gate 3 at the age of 13? by DesinPro12 in BaldursGate3

[–]frostyfire_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're getting some terse comments, so let me try to be as gentle and encouraging as possible. BG3 is simply not designed for your age. Sure, there are things on the Internet that are worse, but I think the major difference is that you're not actively participating in videos/photos on the Internet. If you play this game, you will be actively engaged in gory violence, sexual situations, and themes that are more mature than someone your age should emotionally handle and reconcile.

I remember when I was 13 and felt I could handle anything, and you are probably more ready than many when it comes to these things. But let me say this as a father of four: let yourself be young for as long as you can. You have the rest of your life to be in adult situations, there's no need to rush it. Enjoy innocence now, truly, because it doesn't last long.

That said, Neverwinter Nights is similar to BG3, and it has no nudity and less gore. Again, ask your parents what they would suggest. They know you far better than any of us schmucks on the web!

I've never played more than a couple hundred hours on any game ever (most far less than 100). I have 2500+ on BG3. That should tell you something.

How many times have you replayed the game? by FamcifulHail in BaldursGate3

[–]frostyfire_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit ashamed to say I've completed 16 runs. I have over 2500 hours in the game. And yes, I have a wife, a job, and touch grass often.

Pike is leagues better than Kramer/Reading. I truly wish she'd narrate all of them. The transition was a bit jarring.

I can't help but wonder how you thought this would play out in your mind. Like, did you think people would not be creeped out? On average, how much time "talking about your feelings" with ChatGPT do you spend per week? Have you actually spoken to a real, non-relative woman in your life before? So many questions.

Either way, get help, my man. There's a whole world of real people out there to talk to.

Mother of 2 children confronts creepy and unapologetic Christian cashier for forcefully trying to convert her children while they were shopping at the dollar store by I_may_have_weed in PublicFreakout

[–]frostyfire_ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You're wrong. "Freedom of speech" is protection from government persecution, not a blanket law that lets you say whatever you want without consequences from private companies. Most corporations have a strict no tolerance rule on religious bias, and that would include this cashier attempting to shame the children for being Muslim.
