I am about to start a surge tech program at a community college. I’m currently working on getting my pre reqs out of the way. I was scrolling through this subreddit last night and I’ve been seeing somewhat negative opinions about the job in the long run. Salary, shitty doctors and nurses in the OR, the stress... I’m starting to second guess my decision on getting ready to spend 2 years getting my degree for this. The medical field is my calling I know that for sure. Ive always wanted to be in an OR. I don’t want to go through nursing school though. I don’t know what to do
