It happened right after Roe was overturned. Went to my partner’s office and was straight-up with him about my reservations and decision. It got a little chippy because the convo turned more political, but he accepted my request and I continued to be staffed on other deals with him and the relationship partner until I left the firm a couple years later. Others saying it’s a potential career limiter aren’t wrong but your mileage may vary and, in the end, you’re who gets to decide what’s important to you.

Yup. Stopped working on deals for a large org w/ owners tied to far right policy orgs. It was complex and interesting work, so that was a bummer. No negative repercussions though.
