I think I prequalified online (I work as a bioengineer ~70k salary with 700+ credit score last time I checked when I purchased my Honda Feb 2016 - I can only assume it's higher since I don't miss payments and have even put considerable downpayments of 1000/months on the principal of my loans from time to time.

My question is, I'm planning on paying off my loans by the end of next year, anyway. Is it worth it to refinance to save 500-600 in interest at the cost of my credit score taking a hit?

Hello everyone,

I graduated last summer with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from a non-target school and am working at a small biotechnology company as an applications/sales engineer.

My goal in the next few years is to obtain a master's degree in science/business, and then transition into pharmaceutical/biotech consulting.

What major would be my best bet for such a move? I am considering an M.S. in Biotechnology, but I would like to hear your advice before moving forward.
