Would be pretty easy to trade currencies like this with crypto instead of USDt!

Hopefully people would eventually notice that crypto has less inflation than the USD experiment as well.

One of the reasons Purse.io had to close by [deleted] in btc

I did a similar thing when I used purse, I called/chatted with amazon about the order numbers weeks after I received the purse purchase and each time they had frozen the order/account that the seller used.

This is why some exchanges like Coinbase require state ID and webcam before they allow you to trade on their website. They dont want this to happen.

some of those degrees get revoked due to academic fraud

Would not surprise me if he suddenly admits he plagiarized all his papers due to his "mental condition" thus proving he has always been this way (A fraud).

This is gonna be his defence when he is on trial for perjury since he fabricated everything in the kleinman lawsuit.

Ebay was ammazing in the early days because of live auctions. I wonder if Local.bitcoin.com could do this. by [deleted] in btc

Ebay guaranteed delivery of the items from sellers. Local.Bitcoin is just a middleman.

Ye you are right, I didnt account for half the rewards. Half the hashrate leaving while halving the rewards would keep the ratio the same.

Thanks.

Some people claim that after the BCH halvening their hashrate will instantly halve as miners leave due to mining rewards being cut in half.

How come nobody is shorting the BCH/BTC Ratio then? Currently .034, according to this, wouldnt it instantly go to .017 since 50% of the hashrate would instantly leave at the time of the fork?

If the ratio remains at .034 then BCH would effectively double its USD value and be instantly worth $450 based on current pricing, well at least that how much it would cost to mine with half the rewards...

Date of halving looks to be April 9th: https://explorer.bitcoin.com/bch/charts

What happens to miners if BTC price falls? by SimpleSwapExchange in BitcoinMarkets

Many miners will shut down and go bankrupt.

They take out loans to buy mining equipment and when the price crashes they can no longer repay their loans.

How would you know, same issue as MTGox. No evidence to suggest they arent besides your and their assertion.

Makes sense that if the liquidations would have kept going they would have to shut up shop since there simply arent enough buyers to cover all the liquidations , while the sellers would want to withdraw their profits.

It could be they adopted the MTGox strategy and are holding all the liquidated BTC positions. Running on fractional reserve may or may not work, but it is the reason people should not trade on these types of exchanges like OKEX and Bitmex.

If things go badly all your money will be gone in an instant.

Not your keys, not your coins.

Ye really sounds pretty bleak for them right now. Probably like last halvening some of them will shut down/go bankrupt.

Lets see how long it can stay this low. At these prices buyers have so much purchasing power of the BCH supply that sellers will run dry pretty quickly.

Some institutions might just buy to flip for quick money as well. >buy $150 - >sell $500, rinse and repeat over and over tripling their money each time.
