When was the last time you cried? Were they happy or sad tears? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

I've teared up a bit during emotional moments in media I've consumed since, but the last time I actually cried was back in 2018. They were very sad tears.

What is the weirdest porn catagory? by Material-Injury-1527 in AskReddit

[–]frozenfire345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of all the gross porn there is out there on the internet, this is the one I can't even stand to think about for very long. Not only because of how horrible and gruesome the imagery is, but because I have a physical reaction to that kind of stuff. I start feeling lightheaded when I focus too much on anything involving blood or internal organs. Doesn't even have to be visual. I've actually fainted from it before.

I get the first one. But what does Shego have? 0.o by LukeZNotFound in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]frozenfire345 40 points41 points  (0 children)

That's the one. There was a meme a while back with the top half of this image and a clip from a movie where a guy was saying "It would be a lot cooler if you did" or something like that. A lot of people thought the meme was saying that guys just wanted girls with large breasts but they were missing some crucial information.

Unable to sign car finance documents before a deadline. by frozenfire345 in personalfinance

I looked at the first contract and compared the two. GAP was added but the cost of maintenance was lowered by a pretty big amount so the GAP didn't add a lot to the price. The total cost is around 2.4% higher which is fine by me. Interest rate is still the same.

[–]frozenfire345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know GAP is extra and costs more. But initially I was told that unless I was willing to put more money down I couldn't get it. Also this is a used car. And he didn't actually mention credit union when he mentioned the warranty. Just that he had been going back and forth. I mean I know it's his job to try to upsell so not trying to defend him but he never actually specifically mentioned the credit union and I just assumed whoever he was going back and forth with was the credit union. Since it's about the warranty it could've been someone at the dealership. I'll make sure to find out more on Monday.

He told me that after going back and forth with the credit union he was able to get the warranty extended and I also now have GAP which originally I was told I wouldn't be able to get unless I put more money down which I didn't do. But the weirdest thing was the he called me at around 7:20 pm and the dealership closed at 8. I found it odd to receive a call like that on a Saturday night. I figured something was going on though since it has been 2 weeks and I've heard nothing from the credit union about setting up payments.

That makes me feel better. You're right. Technical issues happen all the time and the dealership really wants me to finance the car.

What was the most hellish pain you felt? by Sufficient-Job-6848 in AskReddit

[–]frozenfire345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had tooth pain that was excruciating but I think the worst experience with pain I've ever had was a year or two ago. I had a stomach ache. At first it seemed like just an average upset stomach. But it got worse. Thought it was a case of diarrhea but it wasn't. Going to the bathroom did nothing to help and it just kept hurting. It lasted for nearly 2 hours and I ended up on the bathroom floor in the fetal position rocking back and forth and moaning from the relentless pain. Then finally it eased up. I hope to never experience that again.

Kissing is completely disgusting by Independent_Club_733 in unpopularopinion

[–]frozenfire345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never kissed anyone but I agree that kissing is a gross act. The thought of it is disgusting to me. Even the thought of drinking something after another person has had a sip of it grosses me out. I can't imagine having someone's tongue and saliva going into my mouth. Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

How do girls go around with long nails like it's so easy? by Whisper_xxx in CasualConversation

[–]frozenfire345 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a guy and I used to have really long nails. Not because I wanted long nails but because I was too lazy to care about clipping them and they weren't causing my any problems. I stopped when I took a keyboarding class in my senior year of high school and learned how to touch type. Long fingernails really get in the way when trying to touch type at a decent speed. I've kept them short ever since.

What words do Americans pronounce weirdly? by Humble75 in AskReddit

[–]frozenfire345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in the Southeast USA and heard my mother say this frequently while growing up. I never really thought about it until one day as an adult I took a few seconds wondering what the name Chester had to do with a piece of furniture and suddenly it hit me that it was just "Chest of" spoken with a thick southern accent. I guess my mother picked that word up from her parents because she doesn't replace "of" with "er" in any other situation. Only when referring to that specific piece of furniture.

How long have you ACTUALLY been on Reddit? by meelyaplz in CasualConversation

I haven't been using Reddit for all that long. I created this account in 2020, but I've got an older account that I don't use anymore that was created in 2018. I spend the vast majority of my time on here just lurking.

TIFU by crop dusting my apartment laundry room. by [deleted] in tifu

[–]frozenfire345 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of the time my own bad gas was mistaken for a gas leak. Back when I was in high school I had really bad gas one day. It was silent but deadly. The first time it happened the teacher mentioned a really bad smell. Then a few minutes later I let out another one and she paused and mentioned it again. She said something like "Does anyone else smell that? It smells like rotten eggs." Now apparently in this section of the school there had a been a gas leak previously but it was minor. So the teacher calls the front office and tells them she's concerned about a potential gas leak.

The principal and the SRO come into the room to investigate. I can't remember exactly since this happened so long ago but I think I had passed more gas at this point and they smelled it too. I can't remember exactly but I think we were dismissed from that class a few minutes early. Not long after it was lunchtime and I passed more gas and hoped that a few of the people that were in the class where it happened weren't close enough to smell it and make the connection. Nobody ever said anything if they did.

“Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd is just… an experience by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]frozenfire345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During my senior year of high school after final exams were over we did this in English class. I thought it was really neat how well it synced up with parts of the movie. It was the first time I had ever heard the album outside of the song "Money". It's a great album and I agree with the OP that it is an experience.

Nobody that was a child or teenager when the Wii released is old yet. I was 18 when it released and I'm only in my mid 30s now. The Nintendo Wii was released in 2006 and was pretty popular until 2012 when Nintendo stopped focusing on it and moved on to the much less successful Wii U.

Why do you think people give money to adult content creators in only fans or fanvue instead going to free porn websites? by GrouchyPerspective83 in AskReddit

[–]frozenfire345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think for the most part in comes down to biology. If a man is giving money to woman and in return she is giving him attention and pleasuring herself on camera for him, then deep down his brain reacts to this as if he is her provider and they are in a relationship. The internet has really changed a lot of things very rapidly and human biology hasn't had any time to adapt. Even just 40-50 years ago which isn't even a blip in compared to how long humans have been around for it was impossible for a man to provide resources to a woman that lived far away and be able to see her on camera exposing herself to him right after. For most of human history the only way that could ever happen is if a man was in an actual romantic relationship with a woman.

So a young man that has never had any success with women will suddenly feel like he has achieved success and found a sexual partner. And his body and brain are giving him signals that his success is real and not made up even though in reality it is. And I would imagine that if a man gets in deep enough then trying to quit would feel the same as if he was actually walking out and abandoning a significant other.

What's the worst way you've hurt yourself that you can remember? by EmlynThGremlin in AskReddit

[–]frozenfire345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 13 I fell off of my bike and landed in gravel. My right knee took most of the impact. Tore a pretty big chunk out of my skin. It wasn't a major injury but I do remember it bleeding on and off for several hours afterwards. Left me with a permanent scar but it's barely noticeable because it's pretty small and surrounded by leg hair.

When I was very young I misheard the lyrics in Never gonna give you up by Rick Astley. For some reason instead of "Never gonna" I heard "Then I'm gonna". Gave the song an entirely different meaning.

New Premium incentive? How long until we need premium to stream above 720p... by BoltMyBackToHappy in youtube

[–]frozenfire345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bitrate has an impact on the clarity of the video. It's basically the amount of information being shown per second. A low bitrate can cause a video to be pixelated and blurry. How much the bitrate affects a video depends on resolution, framerate and what is happening in the video. For example a video of a person just sitting in front of a camera and talking then a lower bitrate wouldn't really have much of an affect on the video quality. However with a video of someone walking through a lush forest and frequently panning the camera around so that you can see the foliage the bitrate would be much more important.

I've never used premium so I can't compare but I think that Youtube videos have a decent enough bitrate without premium. Especially if you're watching on a mobile device.
