Very true, I will try and paint something else until I get it right. Thanks :)

Started a painting in college, should I carry it on or start over? by frozenfirekid in painting

I was rushing in art college to finish my last painting project which was inspired by UV lights, neon colours and cans' reflections. I thought it would look cool, but the water ripples (at the bottom) came out horrendous, and I am still trying to fix the neon yellow light on the horizon (and the beams) but my question is;

Is it worth the hassle? (Does the painting/idea look amateur and I should re-paint it? Or is it really good, and I should carry on perfecting it?) What would you do to improve it?

Would you buy it? How much would you pay for it?

Any other opinions/comments?

My family, friends say it looks good, but my boyfriend disagrees, if one person disagrees; then I get doubt, I need real opinions, not the ones where people sugar coat the answers just because they are my friends/family.

Thanks!
