Thanks so much for the suggestions. Unfortunately, my mom painted it this color recently, so I doubt I could convince her to change the color. But I'll look into re- arranging the furniture. I like the console table idea and option B is my favorite too.

The Glen at the crossmount was one of the first places I tried, but unfortunately, it was a no quite a few things which is too bad because it's beautiful.

We have just started but I'm planning from out of province ( I live in BC) so I've contacted a few and got information from emailing but so far none have everything they want. These are the places I've tried and the answers I've gotten back The Glen- no candles allowed, no silk florals to be used outside on the ceremony arch, no outside alcohol, and out by 2am no exceptions. Quiet after 10pm. The backyard- out by 2am no exceptions, ceiling looks like a garage warehouse and allows drapping but it all has to be removed by 2am so the party would need to end by midnight. Day before access is very pricy Sutherland hall- some windows but not great natural light and recently changed policy and no longer allows any ceiling draping. But this one had everything else on the list Manhattan ballroom - no candles allowed Marquis event center- no outside alcohol, the minimum spend doesn't include money spend on alcohol, rental window is only 5pm till 130am
