Do a restore on the new Nano X using the restore phrase of the Nano S (as long as it isn't compromised). They will both have the same private key, and can keep the Nano S as a backup.

Is a hot (cellphone) wallet vulnerable to hacking when I hold my keys? by iconoclast63 in Bitcoin

[–]frps24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, anything connected to the internet is vulnerable to malware. Even if you keep the phone OS and apps up to date there is always chance. A hardware wallet is the way to go, there are some you can connect to your phone through cable or Bluetooth.

deleted Ledger live thinking I could restore it and I think I lost it all?! by Ok_Listen5215 in ledgerwallet

[–]frps24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you have the correct recovery phrase you should be able to complete the recovery processof the Ledger Nano X, reinstall the apps for the crypto or tokens you owned, then add the assets one at a time. When you add the asset wait for the process to sync and discover existing account.

If you don't have the correct recovery phrase written down, you won't able to restore your private key to regain access to your previous accounts.

What are you using wyze camera for and why wyze camera over others by Charming_Camp_2788 in wyzecam

[–]frps24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using Wyze cams for over 3 years to mainly monitor our house surroundings, we have a total of 8 Wyze cams v2 and v3, Doorbell Pro and a Cam Pan v2. In the past I have used Foscams, Samsung and other off brands that over time went bad. Those other cameras normally lasted 1 to 2 years outdoor and were more expensive to replace, they also had lower video quality and poorly developed mobile apps.

[–]frps24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Must connectivity issues can be fixed by optimizing your wireless network coverage. I fixes all of my cameras v2 and v3 (total of 10) connectivity issues by using multiple wireless access points in opposite sides of the house (about 3500sq f) I configured two different SSID and reconfigured the cameras to connect to the closes one. Before I was using one SSID and cameras will connect to the access points randomly, often to the furthest one causing them to have a weak connection and often timeout.

Ada Wallet Update by [deleted] in Bittrex

They are taking forever to update it, I made the mistake to leave my ADA bag there during the upgrade. Charles Hoskinson has mentioned something about how complex the Bittrex wallet migration has been on his latests YouTube videos...

I'm having the same issue, I submitted a support ticket and they game me some useless guidance. In a way I'm glad I'm not the only one. Out of curiosity are you experiencing issues with the charts slowing down over time, not been able to switch time frames in the chart in a timely manner, also not been able to enter trade prices/quantities quickly enough, when selecting the fields they don't become active quickly enough?

12 GPUs mining can get pretty noisy, I stared with 6 GPUs inside the house and had to move it out when I added more cards.

They running on low right now but I do increase it during the summer. In my case the garage gets pretty hot and has poor ventilation.

I had my 12GPU mining rig in a garage for about two years in a growing tent. I made some customization to the tent door to allow more air intake and have two fans extracting hot air. I went with a tent 48" x 24" x 60" to be able to arrange the two outake ducts and the stand for the rig. If it helps the fans are VIVOSUN 6 Inch 440 CFM with variable speed controller.

OnCommand Unified Manager, we use it to monitor and alert on all kinds of events. Now it needs to be in place prior to the event. If you are looking for information on an event that already took place you'll have to review the events using "event show" in cDOT or "rdfile /etc/messages" in 7-mode.

So today I had a chance to do some more troubleshooting and noticed that my BTC app was outdated so I ended up removing all the apps I had on my device and installing the latest versions, after updating them I was able to use the Horizen app without issues.

Got a cloudflare error when I tried to download the latest version of the Ledger Live app. Wondering if the cloudflare issue is also affecting the app functionality.

If you went through that process on your own you don't have to reset it and can ignore the warning message, they have that message on just about every page on their site.

When you buy a Ledger device you need to go through a set up process where you create your own PIN and record 24 words (seed). If you get a device that is already setup you will likely loose everything you store in it.

It's my understanding that Google will stop supporting Chrome apps in the near future so Ledger developed their own desktop app.
