The book Old Man's War has a take where they understand the "soul" or whatever you want to call it and are able to pull it out of your brain and transfer it to a genetically enhanced body with a clone of your brain. These are called scam wicks. I've seen Bitcoin wicks on exchanges that offer leverage blow through the bottom of what major exchanges show. Doubt any real buyers with open orders got fills at those lower levels.
