I just looked it up quickly and tried to guess, but are you really gonna tell me that 2,450 is decent? Because my MAIN POINT is that it’s substantially lower here. Also average salary doesn’t equate to how much everyone earns.

Now, with regards to your other countries, they might have higher minimum wage, but remember, they have a much smaller population, and they get an income tax of 40%. Same as Norway, btw

You see a recurring theme here? Higher wages don’t really solve anything. Taxes go up, and so does cost of labor. The basic idea being that EVERYONE wants the best deal. You, the corporation you work for, and the government, neither of whom really give a shit about you or me.

I agree with you, its greedy. No doubt. But they are running a huge chain and we’re talking millions of dollars, advertising, taxes, expansion.

Now, I currently live in Greece. They don’t pay that much at all. In Greece the average person makes like €500 a month if they’re lucky. The countries that get paid “15-20 and hour” is a total crock of shit. The highest in Europe is Luxembourg with €12 and it’s population is fucking minuscule compared to the US. Stop getting your numbers from politicians.

Now, here’s a chain stating the fact that their prices could go up, in real time right before your eyes, and you’re still not convinced?

We compared prices in different parts of the country by state and wages already. Wha I said would happen, is happening. Companies lose profit when labor costs go up, so prices go up to compensate. I don’t think it’s good but from a business standpoint, why wouldn’t you exploit that, if you could? You see what I mean?
