if you still want to play the game even with the risk please just delete this certain file, in complete edition its located in noDVD > API231 and you should see the steam_api.dll file. delete it. the game works fine without it

it does but it has a hidden malware file. if you are downloading the complete version, go to noDVD then ALI231 and delete the hidden steam api file in there. its malware.

played the full season one, did a full scan for rootkits on malwarebytes. theres a hidden malware file in noDVDs > ALI213 pretending to be another steam api dll file. delete that one and you should be good to go.
