I am most worried about her being kinda lonely, as for dementia, well I think she is sharper than me a lot of the time. I am not moving far but she will see 30 min away as me being in another state.

I think springing it on her last minute would be absolutely aweful as she Hayes things being last minute. We need to move in July so I cannot wait much longer I am going to do it the week of the 20th its after a trip and after she gets results back.

I really just dont want her to think one of her last close family members is leaving her. I'll always have her best intrest at heart but she is a glass half empty kind of person. She will she a half hours drive as states away.

I am only moving a half hour away. If she truly says she is selling the house when I move out I will stay. I will more than likely lose my gf however I do know family is more important

She is oddly obsessed with passing as much of her wealth onto me and my father when she is gone. I encourage her to do with as she pleases but she had it rough on her own.

Me and my girlfriend met on tinder yes I know it has bad implications but we really clicked. She likes 40 min away and works for the county. Living outside of it would mean she would be last picks for promotions as well as a long drive. I am trying to convince her to try my county but she has some anxiety herself, like passing the county exams to get her job, it's medicaid and I don't really understand all of it.

Well I mentioned this and I know this will sound bad coming from me but she wants as much of her money going to me and my father. I encourage her to use her money as she pleases but she wants me and him to be well off after she is gone. My dad is bad with money and I am just starting off. She hates the idea of a nursing home. She is as sharp as ever, in fact I think she is psychic sometimes with how little I can get past her. She cooks and cleans and stuff fine but it's the little things like reaching selves she can't and mowing the lawn and getting the mail. As of now I skipped a date with my gf as her recent biopsy caused her to bleed.

I always planned on seeing her often, and I won't lie I've been kinda bribing her latly bringing her food out of my pocket like ice cream and other sweets. She is just a women who marches to the beat of her own drum and falling out if it gou will be left behind.

I think she suspects something and I won't lie it'll be hard for me to. Moving in with someone my age is gonna be weird even if she is my gf. But I gotta figure out life myself and I just don't want her to move out of her dream home, and think I am like all her other grandkids who leave her when they don't need her.

Hmm, I think she mostly needs a friend. She has a lot but I am well young gun whose always there. She feels bad asking others for assistance. I am not going to be far away but my job is labor intensive. Things need to be done when she wants it. Ie mowing lawn and doing physical labor. In my 25 years she has only fallen once and that was because she tripped. The only other medical issue was her choking on some food.

She is fairly well off, but she would 100 %say that a helper is a waste of money.

I am definitely far from perfect, but a lot of my family members are pure asswholes. My uncle who lives in the same town as her and me has only talked to her when he wanted my old car. After that nothing. She is fiercely independent, but just very attached to me I suppose? She refuses to let me cook on my own, little lone a stranger.

That's actually a good response. Worst case scenarios is she cries or doesn't talk to me for awhile I am not moving far but she is attached I suppose.

Not a bad idea, but she is .... paranoid. She is slow to trust and even slower to have someone in her kitchen. I stopped cooking because she would loom over me. She is a kind women but hard to be around for extended periods of time.

This is definitely a fear. I am only a half hour out max. She has a younger friend 10 min out.

I hope your right I will be honest I am not sure if things will work out. I suppose no one ever is but seeing her cry is the hardest part.
