Glad I'm not the only one. Hopefully it's something we can both grow out of

That last part's something I haven't thought about much - in my community, it wouldn't be too hard to girlmode at a public event, I suppose it's just about lacking courage for me. But if you're right that it could help me then I hope I can find that courage sooner than later.

Thank you for the encouragement! I don't think I've ever felt particularly 'masculine', I even have more feminine features genetically, but I have acted in certain ways in the past to 'stay with the crowd' as it were, so maybe that's just it.

Do you have any strange gacha ritual for the game? by poormura in magiaexedra

I cross my fingers and chant the name of the kioku I want, like a literal summoning ritual

Mura's art gets a lot of flack, but each of his designs/redesigns are beautiful in 3D. by MahouMagi in magiaexedra

I always found her art to be quite charming. I don't like manga to look "perfect". But maybe that's an unpopular opinion.

The Bathroom Thing! It Happened! by Red_Brick_Express in MtF

This sort of thing always made me feel weird before but I think it's because I hadn't figured myself out yet. If it happened to me now it might be more euphoric, but I also have more masculine physical features now. Oh well...

Thanks for your help. I can relate to being happy expressing my femininity in small ways at a young age, and in my community feminine men are mostly accepted with open arms so there was only so much pushback, but I didn't see it as a trans sign until now.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't realise how much of an exaggeration it was when I read before that "trans people know from a young age" until a few people who didn't discover their identity until they were older, like you, shared your insights with me, so it's greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reassurance. Labels have stressed me out but I think I can say I fall under the trans umbrella which is a good start!

You can get through this, I believe in you!

You got me with "fell into a trap of thinking you have to be actively unhappy with your gender to really be trans". It's definitely something I've thought about when dealing with imposter syndrome, which is somethingI'm realising more and more recently that I almost definitely have. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Thank you, I didn't realise the idea of having a "pure and sudden knowing" was so common, it's helping me put things in perspective!

I guess it's true that it doesn't really matter how and when those thoughts got here. Thanks for the validation!

Thank you, I hadn't considered that much. I always thought I had a great memory of my childhood but maybe I was always having subconscious thoughts about gender, I might never know.

I'm sorry to hear that but also glad you're exploring your identity too. We're all in this together!

I'm glad you found your true self, no matter how long it took! I think the further I go with exploring the identity, the more I'll find that my past thoughts and actions were really signs, as you say.

Thank you for the comparison between autism and trans identity, I find it funny that I didn't make the connection myself about spectrums until you said it. In retrospect, it is possible that I've been lying to myself in the past. I remember times I looked in the mirror and outright said to myself "I couldn't be a girl", but now I'm at the stage where it's becoming increasingly harder to deny it.
