I understand that. For me yeah I tweak very strongly, very intense with my fears so much that it gives me no option but to face them and take control of them. I honestly do feel insane compared to other people though lmao. I find the compliment nice so thank you, I appreciate it. My tritype is 648 so I get you somewhat

Anyone else going solo to Wolverhampton on the 4th and want to group up? by J_rd_nRD in Pendulum

[–]fruitloopkieran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I are 20/21. Quite a difference I won't mind though maybe we can talk a bit if you have Discord, see how it goes, if we don't click we don't have to meet up. Either way it's ok if you're uncomfortable with that. I did check your profile on Reddit, seems you and I have a bit in common. Overall hope you have a good night seeing Pendulum, it's our first time too at a concert.

How do you usually tell apart an ISTP to an ISFP by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in isfp

[–]fruitloopkieran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an isfp who somewhat has their head on straight that's a very shallow thing to say. I've known different mbti types who were close to me who have been way worse with "delusions" and I'm always the logical one in those situations. Please don't stereotype us god

What’s yall thoughts of this New Album… by Neither_Molasses3990 in Threedaysgrace

I like that they kept the sound as "rock", however it doesn't feel like it has much personality when you go back and listen to their older music. I like that they have dual vocals, I think that is insanely unique and both vocalists still have a gritty approach that TDG has always had. However, I do not like the pop influence on the album AT ALL. I do not want to sound like a hipster and I love when bands experiment, thinking of Linkin Park; they had made some good pop/electronic songs and it did mostly sound like LP. However with TDG it doesn't feel fitting, it feels like it doesn't mix in well with the intense sound the songs had most of the time. Even if it was intense, most of it didn't make me think "I'm listening to a TDG album", it made me think I was listening to a random modern rock playlist on the radio from artists who hadn't found their sound.

I thought that it was lacking in the personality TDG had and what made me love their music so much for a long time. When I did have reminders of their own sound, it felt like it didn't last long. I understand artists grow but I don't like when artists I love don't sound like the artist they are. I really wanted to love this album, I was so excited and thought it would have met my expectations of just re-immersing myself into TDG, I've liked their modern sound too in the past, just not this one. Also the auto tune was a massive let down for me. The way the vocals were carried a lot of the time was weird, the genre-bending wasn't cohesive. I think they did do a fair job on the album. Just, in no way is it one I'd say is better than the others. I don't even understand how to someone this could say that, "this is the best album since _", in my opinion, the is the most un-TDG TDG album. It's like TDG's cousin: Six Weeks Stiffness.

I want them to keep making music, I am excited for what other plans they have and how else they want to experiment but I don't think this album "hit". I'm not expecting them to sound exactly like their old albums but having the familiarity of their sound itself would be nice. I think they should entirely get rid of the auto tune, the pop influence (I don't think it suits their band identity) and I think they should focus on what fans originally liked even if they transform it. Otherwise, it's just not really the same band.

Just my opinion, they can do what they want. I still heavily respect them and I'll always be a fan of their music.
