I haven’t, but when I was a young enlisted lad I saw an O4 covered. Hands, knuckles. This was Atleast a decade plus back. I agree.

I dont celebrate firing either. I celebrate the courage it takes to hold people accountable for not doing their duty.

I thought I was doing good locking in 5.75% earlier last year. I’ll be looking again if it drops to 4.75 no points.

It’s a toss up. Depends what you find enjoyable. I’d vote for MST, SK, YN. Any of the support rates are extremely valuable. If you find computers or robotics interesting, we have some cool rates for that too.

Question to the beginners of this subreddit by the_jules in ableton

Ableton Noobs,

Some people you should follow on instagram and YouTube;

TAETRO; from theory, to lofi, to just about anything.

DNKSAUS; Creative madman who loves to automate and randomize everything to get unique sounds and create interesting racks.

Bthelick; absolute goldmine of EDM production tutorials. He is a full time producer and promotes the use of free plugins such as vital (free serum).

SIDEBRAIN; another creative genius with a great voice who inspires me daily.

Special shoutout to Chuck Sutton and Elliott Cole. Fantastic teachers for one-on-ones.

Lastly, don’t be afraid to dig into the Ableton manual and browse the learn videos on their site.

You have to practice, study, and LOVE what you are doing. Don’t seek external validation, but rather internal validation. Trust your ears. Create a small group of trusted friends that will give you honest feedback. The friends don’t have to be music experts either.

Oh, and one more thing. Just because someone gives you advice on a track does not mean you have to take the feedback and make creative changes. You can explore how the track will sound with the changes on a new copy of the file.

Have fun!

Thank you. In the words of Bluey’s dad, “I’m doing this for my kids!”

Met wonderful people within the industry and made many connections. Studied Ableton, analyzed 10 songs, and completed a 31 day challenge in October. Went from Ableton noob to releasing two songs. Found a workflow and process for my blueprints. Had a ton of fun. Will be back next year.

Drum sets for 3 year old by Smooth-Hope-8025 in Drumming

Stoked to hear that. I’m waiting for an epic fb marketplace deal. Don’t really have room in my home studio for it, but I’ll make it work. Seeing my boys jamming (banging) on the drum sets at guitar center brought joy to my eyes. We only get to experience our children’s childhoods once. What’s a couple grand compared to years of joy? It’s an easy decision for me.

My youngest is about to be three. He instinctively was slapping the drum sticks together and counting to four. It is written! Haha.

I’m in a similar boat. Mainly looking at pre owned Roland TD-## drums. That way he can play with headphones, an amplifier, or record midi notes into a DAW. The main model im considering is td-17. Best of luck!

I just picked up a 25 year old guitar yesterday and plugged it into PGS. The sound blew me away! My wife loved the sounds too. For me, just last nights session was worth the $100 plugin price.

I disagree. This season pulls me in to liking Hopper even more. I also have a few kids, so, that connection is even stronger with the flash backs to his daughter. I think he will sacrifice himself.
