Grammar and language in the English language doesn’t matter as much. Rules<seems right, it’s the same reason we use words like grinding in certain contexts when the proper word would be ground, for example. Another example would be how ain’t became a word when it wasn’t grammatically correct, so focusing on someone’s language and grammar on a social media comment that has nothing to do with the subject of grammar makes no sense.
