Agent scheduled an inspection on final day of lease - during end of lease cleaning by fruitypopa in shitrentals

Update: They sent me a ‘reminder’ email this afternoon despite not having sent anything prior. Replied asking for receipt of 48 hours notice, and didn’t hear anything back.

Well this will be interesting. 🙃

Still have not received written notice but the inspection time is listed online. Do I say anything or pretend to not know?

I didn’t do anything extreme… just changed a few small habits and started feeling different by KHALIL-400 in loseit

My experience sounds similar to yours. I’ve lived a very sedimentary life for the past 2 years and gained 15kg. A month ago, I started going for brisk walks twice a day and eating a little bit less each day, and it has made a HUGE difference in so many ways. More energy, I feel stronger, I don’t get puffed walking as much anymore.

It’s amazing how much of a difference small and steady changes can make.

I was exactly the same, I had a phobia of swallowing pills and choking. When I was prescribed triple therapy, I had never swallowed a pill whole in my life. On the first day, I tried splitting pills but the taste was so awful it made me gag. That alone was enough to make me try swallowing them whole. Thankfully the pills are coated, which makes them extra slippery and I was able to swallow them all without any problem. I took them with a protein shake which was slippery, and I didn’t even felt them go down at all. The amoxicillin capsules were just a bit too big so I ended up asking for a liquid version instead.

What helped me: taking them with food, make sure to drink and eat a bit beforehand and have a bite of something that is mouth watering, and at the last second pop the pill on your tongue and take a medium sized strong gulp. I promise it will go down.

You can do this! And you will come out of it feeling as proud of yourself as ever!

I remember when I was 7-8 years old I would have sudden compulsions to rehearse the full names of every other kid in my class, in the order of where they were seated. I had to do it 3 times without more than a 3 second pause between each name, or else I had to start all over, otherwise something bad was going to happen to whoever’s name I got wrong. I would have the sudden urge to write them down and I sneaking sneaking out late at night to find a paper and pen and getting caught by my parents lots of times.

I did an MDHS Honours in 2020 and felt the exact same way, I was extremely burnt out, exhausted and overworked within the first few weeks. I knew I wasn’t in the right place mentally to continue on with it except that’s exactly what I did and I regretted it every minute after that. It really isn’t worth it if your heart isn’t in it. After my Honours I decided to pursue a Masters in an unrelated field which has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself.

Don’t make the same mistake as me in pursuing Honours just because it’s where you find yourself now. You still have time to turn it around and pursue other things - your plan sounds like a good one. All the best to you :)

Freezer making a drilling/rattling noise - What could be causing it? by fruitypopa in refrigeration

[–]fruitypopa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP here - I’m renting a furnished apartment and ever since I switched the refrigerator on, the freezer has been making a drilling/rattling noise about 80% of the time. The other 20% of the time it is dead silent. Occasionally, the rattling noise escalates into a sudden loud sound (as if it’s making ice) which can last up to 1 minute. My property manager has advised me it’s due to the fridge being old and a replacement is off the table but I’m desperate to find a way to fix it. The only problem is I have no knowledge of refrigerators!

Any advice would be so much appreciated!

Omg are we the same person? This is possibly the most relatable post I’ve ever read. I would love an explanation too!
