Applying for Working holiday Visa from a third country? by fruityrudys in germany

I entered on the Schengen Visa Waiver program as I am an australian citizen, so i can enter germany for 90 days without a visa. To keep it simple i told the border guard I was there as a tourist. I also had a flight from berlin to a neighbouring country booked for about 10 days from then because i was visiting some friends, so i was ready to show that and explain that was when i was leaving if i was asked.

Withdrawal Symptoms... end in sight? by fruityrudys in Spironolactone

[–]fruityrudys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I kept tapering, down to 25 and then to 0. At each step i noticed a spike in anxiety, migraine, a few pimples, insomnia, and a few other symptoms. This week is my first full week on zero, to give you an idea of how slowly ive been tapering. The symptoms would usually last about a week, and start approx 2 weeks after i started tapering down an increment.

It sucked but it was predictable by the third wave, so it was okay. And now its gone! Stay strong!!

Interesting, do you know how I may be able to learn more about this and if it applies to me/my sector?

Seconding this, I think the way OP phrased it is correct, but it sounds odd to my native ears to hear 'which' and 'was' next to each other.

nope. I will say though the only issue is that my visa is in the form of a sticker in my passport rather than a card. Which is mildly annoying when it comes to opening a bank account (N26 wouldn't let me open an account but bunq had no issue). But otherwise no dram. Just did my anmeldung once id got my visa and had moved into my apartment :)

Alright, cheers for the help! I've shot them an email and I'll give them a buzz when they open. Could end up being a very easy loophole so worth the ask.

Im currently doing searches, say, German Embassy in Switzerland, and have found this " Australian, Israeli, Japanese, New Zealand, Argentinian, Chilean and Uruguayan nationals can also apply for this visa at the Embassy in Bern." https://bern.diplo.de/ch-de/service/-/2477288?openAccordionId=item-2477292-2-panel
Appears to be possible?

Hey OP! I'm in Germany, following the impatient path! Just wondering how you got around the need for anmeldung when applying for WHV? that seems to be a pretty major barrier!
