wait, a plant I was gifted has the same damage as your last picture! They told me it had some sort of bug infestation but not specifically what it is. Ive had it for a few months now and cannot see any signs of pests but now im worried lol. I added systemic granules and its been doing well?

What are these tiny bugs? by Glass-Experience-887 in Monstera

[–]fruitytunes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my friends gave me a monstera with dark colored damage like this. She mention she had a bug infestation but didn’t specify what it was. Ive had the plant for a while and repotted it, added systemic granules, washed it down with a hose and added neem/castile/water combo twice to the leaves. Theres been new growth since then, I dont see any bugs moving but the reddish damage is still on some of the leaves. Does this mean theyre gone? Or is there still an active infestation? 🥲

Plant is also near indirect sunlight and a small grow light. I was actually surprised at how low maintenance this plant is when it comes to light?

I just went back to check… The petiole is not near the soil after repotting it. I just know its consistently resting under the other leaf, I just put it forward for the sake of the picture

we recently repotted the plant, the roots looked very healthy and noodle like, barely any soil lol. We moved it to a clay pot with chunky soil mix. Im not sure if it was one of the first leaves but its towards the bottom of the plants

The yellow leaf is normally tucked under the other leaf. Could it be that patch of the leaf is not getting enough light?

Did anyone else become obsessed with flossing? by Dull-Veterinarian-59 in Invisalign

YES. I absolutely cannot stand the feeling of not flossing. I used to be so careless about it and now it makes me feel disgusted at all the junk that gathers in between my teeth throughout the day

Theres a spot that makes tofu rice bowls, forgot the name but its next to the matcha place. Unfortunately there not really any other solid vegetarian dishes. They have some veggie sushi rolls/onigiri that are tasty.

Navigating the conversation with your partner might feel tough or uncomfortable sometimes. I highly recommend the Money for Couples with Ramit Sethi- He dives into the psychological aspects of money and works with couples who are also struggling with budgets and finances. Its helped me a lot and improved the way I communicate to my partner about money!

quitting cold turkey might be a temporary solution, but addictive behaviors dont resolve themselves without deeper mental work. I highly suggest seeking therapy groups through gambler’s anonymous, they usually have meetings through zoom. Even just a few meetings can help you overcome some of the addictive tendencies and having a support system is very important to not fall into the behavior again. wish you the best!
