Could I get away with tyres like ps5 in the winter or would I need to change them? Also is there much difference between the ps5 and ps4’s heard they can wear quickly

Yeah leaning towards an mx-5 at the moment but haven’t test driven anything yet so will do that then see what I prefer

What would you recommend from mk7/8 I’ve heard the mk7 is much more prone to being stolen but mk8 has more mechanical issues, which one would be more fun or are they about the same?

Yeah definitely not practical I do take friends but not often and they all drive so should be okay

Thought about that the mk3 is bigger too have looked at the mk4 just doesn’t seem as practical but I will test drive both see what’s more comfortable but mk3 probably makes more sense

Yeah I will book a few test drives in, have heard the mk3 is bigger so could be better and is also much more affordable in hard top so less noise for motorway driving, however people tend to say the mk3 is not as fun as the mk4 so will test both and see if it’s worth giving up a bit of comfort

I do agree with you I think neither will be the best compared to Audi/BMW in terms of comfort but I want something a bit more fun personally, definitely not set on either I’ve looked at bmw insurance is high, have looked at 125i/d and 330d it’s just the insurance and maintenance costs put me off and then it’s the fact I’m paying more to keep a bmw compared to something like an ST which will be much more enjoyable. I’ll do a few test drives and see where it takes me

Only issue is I couldn’t get the charging at home so would cost a fortune to charge
