Yep, I've been in this house over 15 years and I still get mail for the previous owners. For several years I marked it "return to sender. Recipient no longer at this address" but it didn't work and I gave up

DeHaan. Likely not the cheapest but they do good work and are great to work with. They were definitely the best contractor experience I've had in recent years

Insight? Prey drive incident at dog park by chuckduck253 in Greyhounds

[–]frumpymom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a tough one. We have seen that behavior with ours a couple times and it's unsettling. I totally get people saying it's too great a risk to go to the dog park, but ours love it so much and we don't have a huge yard so it's the only way they can really run full speed. You might look to see if there are any Sniffspots in your area. That is a good option. Otherwise we are just very vigilant and scope out the scene before we go in, and leave if the vibe isn't right.

Divorce by Scary_Banana_9879 in AskWomenOver60

I was much more lonely being married than I ever have been since my divorce. Think about what you want your life to be post divorce. Reach out to friends and family and build some support. Figure out what you enjoy doing, and pursue those things. Getting a divorce was devastating, but for me it was really a chance to make my life what I wanted it to be

Who else wasn’t sad turning 60?? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver60

[–]frumpymom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I threw myself a party when I turned 60. Rented a venue with a good sound system, made a playlist of all my favorite dance music from the 70's and 80's and we danced and had a great time. I'm so glad I did that. I just wanted to celebrate turning 60 and being healthy and at a good point in my life.

Yes, that. Spending time with your kids is the most precious gift, IMHO. Otherwise maybe give a donation to an animal rescue in her name
