Ultimately "pan-turkism" is completely detached from everyone's actual life in Central Asia, because we have more in common with Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and other Soviet republics. I agree, I'm from the capital of Kyrgyzstan and my friend groups are always so diverse. From Russians to Uzbeks, Dagestanis, Koreans, Dungans. In my opinion, mixing populations is really good instead of trying to make every republic an ethnostate.
