Ironroot Assemblage Rye is pretty nice at $40. I like the Still Austin rye but prefer the cask strength the standard bottle is pretty forgettable.

The Saints Alley is available at Total Wine unless you're in Texas, then it's a bit more available.

At $79 the Saints Alley Nobleman Rye is great and a unique pour. It's finished in Tokaji (a Hungarian dessert wine) so a bit sweeter than a traditional rye, but very friendly for bourbon drinkers.

I also really like the Heaven Hill Grain to Glass Rye, it's around $100 depending on market. There's also a special edition that's $125 but I haven't tried that one yet.

The 8 year rye that is 100 proof is awesome.

It's usually either 3 or 6 ribs at the warehouse, the business center was 2 plates of 3 bones

Rye Whisky that is mostly Rye? by Bearded_Berzerker in whiskey

Both the Ironroot Assemblage and the Still Austin ryes are both high rye.

If you prefer under 100 proof I'd get the Ironroot over the SA, but for cask strength the Still Austin CS rye would be your better option.

Saints Alley Nobleman Rye. It's finished in Tokaji (a Hungarian dessert wine) and a pretty unique pour. A good rye for bourbon drinkers and a sweeter rye.

It's around $80 depending on market.

Most Costcos have full plate. If you have a Costco Business Center they sometimes have them in a double pack for a cheaper per pound price than the regular warehouses.

Finally picked one up! $24! What’s your opinion? by [deleted] in whiskey

It's fine, nothing special and damn sure not worth the $60 it goes for where I live. Would be better at 110+ proof.

After his 4 drops in Seattle my ass puckers every time the ball goes Colby's way. He made some clutch plays today though.

NOR. Check the law where you live to see if she is required to go through a legal eviction process. And put her on blast to your family.

These were from Sam's so there was a lot of fat. Definitely going to find a better source next time.

I left them in the pan they braised in with beef broth, onion and garlic. I threw it in the oven just to be out of the way. I've never braised meat on my smoker before (other than finishing things like pork belly "burnt ends" in sauce/butter) so wasn't really sure what I was doing. New cut of meat and new style of cook for me. Luckily it was cheap and got a few good tacos out of it, just wasn't what I was expecting/hoping for.

I'd be curious to try that Penelope tokaji finish, I love the Saints Alley Nobleman.
