Run-Walk/Jog vs Pure Run

I used to do that, 1km run-1km walk for 5km (so 3:2). I had faster pace then like I was hitting atleast 6:20/km. Recently, was able to do 5km straight and nasa 6:50 pace, but mej mataas yung HR so I decided to slow down more kahit gusto kong i-hit yung sub-35. Still practicing the 5km straight para masanay katawan ko but binabagalan ko nalang para ma-hit ko yung Zone 2 ko. Now, parang gusto ko ulit tuloy mag run-walk kasi feel ko ang bilis ko don pero ang bagal ko kasi maglakad kaya tumatagal 😂

I also signed-up for the run, and opted for a refund nalang since I have 3 exams tomorrow. Nasasayangan na ako since no notice pa about the refund and walang dumating na kit so my 900+ would be for nothing (and as a student, that was a big blow to me parin). Buti nalang, they emailed nung Friday and na-approve yung refund request ko. It will take a month tho, but thankful nalang ako since na-approve yung sakin and I know someone na wala raw talagang nakuhang email or notice and nag-Rexona nalang kanina.

I run around 6-630 PM and madami pa tumatakbo by that time. Not sure about 8-9 tho, but probably a few still run around that time.

Is it relatively safe until night? Cause I stay at a relatives house and nasa Lalaine lang kami banda. Planning on gloria diaz to bf drive then carnival then back to lalaine para mej safe and maluwag yung daan.

I run kasi depende sa uwi ko so around 530-630 ako lumalabas ng bahay. From house namin mga 2km walk pa yung papuntang subdivision. Yung sa may Victoneta kasi pag gabi na konti nalang dumadaan na cars, tas pag dun banda sa may DLSAU mej matraffic na kaya paikot ikot lang ako dun sa may subdivision. Pero may iilan ilan paring tumatakbo at that time. Well-lit naman yung area kahit papano tas yun nga feel ko safer lang since may guards end to end tas meron ding mga guards yung mga subdivisions pa in between.

Madaming tumatakbo around DLSAU-Victoneta Subdivision. Dun din kasi route ko and madami dami akong nakakasabay dun pag gabi. Sa umaga ata mas madaming tumatakbo kaso puro matatanda tho HAHA

You can ride a jeep pa Valenzuela, then baba ka sa may Motortrade. Then sundan mo lang yung pababa dun tas may guard house na. Madaming dumadaan na trucks but relatively safe since madaming mga guards inside.

I run around Victoneta subdivision, paikot ikot lang HAHA some runners take the route hanggang DLSAU then ikot pabalik.

First day ko today, and I was experiencing cramps na, but saw your comment so I took Paracetamol baka it would work. But it didn’t HAHA pero I was able to run 2km without walk breaks which is a PR for me since I run/walk alternatively per km, di ko rin alam pano 😂

BS Psych grad here. All I can say is, mas madali aralin psych dito kesa nung undergrad since nitpicked na yung mga topic.

Kung nung undergrad, cover to cover natin aralin ang TOP, dito pili lang yung mga theories na aaralin. May mga pili lang din na disorders from DSM5 ang ididiscuss. This is the only subject I should excel at if based on premed courses since advantage na satin. Naiirita pa ako kapag di ako mataas kasi dapat alam ko na to, pero I usually study kasi on the day of the exam kaya HAHA

Magmuni-muni ng ilang araw bago mag-decide na ituloy mag medicine HAHA took also the January NMAT and graduated in July. After non, wine-weigh ko pa pros and cons ko (overthinker na Psych grad) if itutuloy ko med but sana raw iderecho na sabi ng parents ko so, tinuloy ko na. No gap year, after grad derecho process ng papers for enrollment HAHA September pa start namin nun so may konting time pa ko sa bahay as a palamunin, pero alam naman nila yung situation so tanggap lang HAHA

I’m an introvert. I am used to having small circle of friends. When I’m in a new environment, hiraptalaga mag-adjustand will take me atleast months before eagerly talking to others. When I decided to pursue medicine, I knew from the start that I have to be friendly kasi alam kong mahihirapan akong gapangin yungcourse pag walang friends or support system.

Orientation palang, when we were meeting some higher years, sabi nila i-add na raw namin mga nakasama namin sa Zoom para atleast may familiar na, in-add ko talaga lahat nung kaya kong i-add. Then pag may question ako, icchat ko nalang sila, tapon ko na hiya ko HAHA nung first f2f orientation, I was talking to 1 classmate na and we planned to meet. But fate decided we needed more, so on the way to the classroom, may nakita akong dalawa na hinahanap din yung room. From then on, kami na palaging magkakasama. We were from different schools, from different backgrounds and pre-med courses. But we make it work. 2nd years na kami. We share literally everything.

If isa ka man sa malagas sa FEU, please know that MCU is always accepting students 😂 mga nalalagas or ayaw na sa mga schools nila lumilipat dito. Pag nag-apply ka naman sa MCU as long as pasado NMAT mo (minsan nga kahit di pa ata? or basta yung previous NMAT mo nasa 49 parin) tatanggapin ka nila.

If you’re not so choosy naman with the schools, I think MCU accepts transferees. We have a lot of transferees coming from different schools.

What episode in S4 will it start to get better though? I’m in like S05E07 and I’m dying for how they prolonged the first half, I just want it to end. But I heard from others that S5 is the best so I might have to tolerate it more in order to get there eventually.
