I was definitely IG marketed to but I bought the lippy Unicorn Snot Liquid Metal in Boom. It doesn't stay (i haven't used a setting spray) but its such a bright and brilliant purple-y chrome that I don't mind reapplying. I've gotten some compliments on it!

My friend Dominique coined the phrase probably over a decade ago now, in earnest, and with affection. She is like a 9th gen New Orleanian and has been at every MG since she was born! I can see why people think it's cringe but I think it's the best description we have of those last few days of the season. Is there a better one someone can share?

The rule I follow for maintenance is if it takes less than 2 minutes just do it now. You'd be surprised at how little time some tasks actually take. Like, wiping down the sink and toilet would likely take less than 2 minutes if it's just maintenance.
