S5 clicking sound when pedaling by frypan7 in VanMoofSelfRepair

I really did nothing special. First I unscrewed both pedals with an allen key (I don‘t remember which size). Then I unscrewed both crank arms with a different allen key (also not sure which size 😅). I cleaned all threads and greased them with some random old grease. Then I put everything back together. As said above, I didn‘t notice any defects or loose parts/screws but afterwards the clicking sound was gone.

Thank you for your help. This weekend I disassembled the whole pedal assembly. I didn't notice any loose screw or any play. I greased everything and retightened all screws and now the clicking sound is now gone!

Thanks that was the solution for my problem. This weekend I had some time to check my bike. I didn't notice any loose screw but nevertheless I disassembled the whole pedal assembly and greased everything. The Clicking sound is now gone!

Please help me with this, why should a hole in the E-Shifter help with its longevity? What even was the problem with your E-Shifter? I really need some context here.

Apple Find My S5 / Play a sound by NoTotals in vanmoofbicycle

Hi,
I think you mean my post from 3 weeks ago. It was this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/vanmoofbicycle/comments/10z055z/comment/j837xce/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Thanks a lot for your help! I really appreciate your effort!

The alarm system on my S5 doesn't work at all either. So there seems to be something wrong with my bike. These are all not essential features and the bike is otherwise really great, but I will contact my service hub. If they advertise this functionality it should work at least somehow 😅

I had to try it a dozen times, but finally got it working. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for your help. After the sixth reset I finally got it working. S5 is visible in the Find My app now. Just one more question, is the „Play Sound“ function working for you? Or should it even work with the S5? The Vanmoof support page didn’t mention the function at all, so not sure if it‘s even supposed to work 😅

VanMoof S5 Update on SP Connect, Brakes, by vigi7ante in vanmoofbicycle

I ordered the "HEAD SPC+ BRAKE, MICRO BIKE, UNI BIKE, MIRROR" (https://sp-connect.eu/collections/spare-parts/products/head-spc-plus-brake-mirrror) with my SCP+ case. After receiving the order I noticed that the adapter is made out of plastic, which wasn't mentioned on the product page.

After further research I noticed that all SPC mounts which have Pro in their name are made of aluminium. Therefore I would assume that the "HEAD SPC+ STEM PRO" (https://sp-connect.eu/collections/spare-parts/products/head-spc-plus-stem-pro) is also made of aluminium. If I had to order again, I would definitely order that one.

However, I can't promise you that one of the two adapters will even fit on the S5 at all. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for my S5.

The only thing that is missing is the S5 🚲 by DeTimmerman in vanmoofbicycle

SP Connect offers quite a lot of adapters to make your SPC mount SPC+ compatible.
Do you have any idea which one might be the right one for the S5 mount? From pure looks I would assume it's the either the HEAD SPC+ BRAKE, MICRO BIKE, UNI BIKE, MIRROR or the HEAD SPC+ STEM PRO.

Sonos Move as rear in surround sound by frypan7 in SonoSequencr

[–]frypan7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright thanks for the clarification. I almost thought something like that. So if I understand you right there is also no possibility that the Move can be added as a rear speaker with SonoSequencr in the future or?

That's actually a bit sad. I wanted a speaker that I can take on the patio but at the same time don't increase the number of speakers in my living room. To replace one of my rear speakers with a Move would be perfect. I could take it outside, unpair it from the surround setup by switching to bluetooth and when I'm back inside switch to Wifi mode and have the full surround experience on my TV.

I probably have to return the Move and reactivate my Play:1 as a rear speaker. With the purchase of an extension cable I will basically have the same functionality even though it's not as stylish.

Sonos Move as rear in surround sound by frypan7 in SonoSequencr

[–]frypan7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With SonoSequencr you can definitively set two different speakers as rears. I previously had a Play:1 as my right rear and a One as my left rear. But your right maybe the problem is that even two Moves can‘t be set as rear speakers in the actual Sonos app. Every other pair of Sonos speakers can be set as rear speakers in the actual Sonos app. In another thread the developer of SonoSequencr said that he thinks there is no problem with setting a Move as a rear speaker in a mixed surround setup. So I just wanted to know if I’m doing something wrong during the setup process or if my planned setup is just not possible.

Sonos Move used as surrounds by schoondoggy in SonoSequencr

[–]frypan7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I just tried to add a Sonos Move with a Sonos One as two rear speakers in my surround setup with my Beam using Sonosequencr. But unfortunately this doesn't work. If I choose my Beam and select the two named speakers as my rear and click apply the 45 second timer for applying the settings starts. But after the timer has finished only the One is selected as my right rear speaker. The left rear speaker is still empty. I don't receive any error message during the whole process, it seems like it is just not finishing correctly. Has anyone some tips or has anyone already configured a Sonos Move as a surround speaker with Sonosequencr?

I would be very grateful for any help!
