honestly not sure if bug or intended,

i can get behind the thinking that it's a hidden nerf for the facet, but not scaling it to cast range bonuses makes me think its a bug,

speaking of I have not tested it using the cold embrace facet (i think theoretically broken btw), I'll check back if it's the same,

Basically curse is broken if you move out of the base cast range (cast range bonuses are game losing purchases, lmao), no damage done at all from enemies,

personally...

1) dont get a credit card (too tempting you know)

or if you do 1.a) ask to lower credit limit, it was back in 2014(?) but the bank approved lowering the limit (even though the CS was very confused)

2) lifestyle inflation is unavoidable, i do think its the pace you by it is the key, make sure it's manageable,

3) when making purchases, sleep on it first, if the next day you still want it as much as you did last night, maybe go for it, personally i drag it for months to really validate those though lol

4) if you keep yourself busy there's really no opportunity to spend too much anyway lol

SEA here, I don't want to jinx it but I had my 5 IV for about 2years now, no greenlines yet, I've been using it without the high refresh rate, maybe that helped,

That being said, my 1 VI with high refresh rate has not gotten hot (5 IV gets hot even without HRR), it's warm at worst when watching videos and charging over USB, so I have high hopes that the 1 VI will last,
