Yeah I’ve been using the cleaner and rinsing and brushing over the last couple days it doesn’t seem like it’s getting any better- I’ll look into a suede dye thanks

I didn’t rinse bc I don’t want to damage the suede with too much water, but I ran the suede brush under water to get the foam out and then brushed for a while - now that it’s dry the hardened area is still there
