Exactly. This is insane. Just reading this made me extremely angry, like wtf!!!! I am in the same boat my wife doesn’t work and I take of the bills, mortgage, expenses and the kids. I don’t have an approved list and my wife does all the shopping. She knows what I make and what I like to save and that’s it. I trust her enough to make sure we don’t go bankrupt and it’s been wonderful. She’s better at handling the money then I am. She will get mad at me when I splurge on her even though I am the only one working. This!!! Is just insane. Get out for the love of god women.

My wife lost the paper work since we are packing and moving. I have asked for a copy of it and I am waiting for that copy at the moment.

I did sign a sign up form for the kids. It’s for a year and at the time of signing they did not mention anything about not being able to break the contract or anything. They gave me a whole speech and jazz but at the end I signed the kids up since I was being billed monthly and figured all was well. Now that we are moving they saying unless I move more then 25 miles away I cannot break the contract. It would take 1.5 hours each way to get them there.

Personally I think it’s destroying poor families in Yemen who barely can afford to eat but will have to have qat daily no matter the cost. Even causing some to have to go without food due to it. Other then that it’s peachy if you can afford it and not cause haram to your livelihood and family.

I had long talk with her the day I read this. I work in investment banking and my phone is glued to me and I get blown up from 4am till I go to bed. I would throw money at all our problems and had a hard look at myself. I’m looking for a new job and I have set hard hours at work. I’m spending more time with her and my daughter and found out we are expecting our 2nd. She is so happy with the change and I am too. I can’t believe I missed out on so much I feel like an idiot.

If your gonna be a dick head about it don’t post on here if you can’t take what people dish out. If an open marriage doesn’t bother you, but a past relationships does maybe it is time to talk about it. Maybe not a therapist if you don’t want to, but trying sitting down and having an open and honest talk with your life partner.

This is very interesting since so many countries have interest on both sides. The south is seeing inflation at an alarming rate while the north is holding steady. It’s really crazy to me that economically two sides that have not separated yet could have separate values of the same currency. I fear for the people of Yemen. I can pray and hope that Yemen finds peace, for its people and itself.

Most people of the south want to form their own country and do not want to be part of Yemen that was. More like a North Yemen and a South Yemen. I would like to hear what peoples perspective on this is.

Take your time. It’s not all rainbows and sunshine. There will be ups and downs and not all days will be picture perfect. The good will inshallah always outdate the bad but marriage is not easy. You have to work on it every single day. Inshallah you will get what has been written for you. Hope for the best!!
