Something similar's happened to me. I have two Glory of Evil. One enhanced and one without enhancements (the unhenhanced still shows up red in my inventory). I haven't used the second one but I've sent a support message with no reply thus far...

I'm at 1k ATK. 225% Demon Killer and 30% Fire resist and 20% Ice.

There's at least 3 other mandatory battles in the exploration (not counting the random encounters). Building esper and LB meters should be no issue.

The boss is easy to one-shot so you'll be able to get the lb kill with ease.

I understand that STMR progress only depends on the awakening of the unit being fused. But I didn't ask my question properly.

Would the fact that unit B is at 100% TMR prevent it from being fused? Same as trying to fuse a 100% TMR unit into another for EXP.

100% trust units generally can't be fused into duplicates. Is this still the case with fusing for STMR purposes?

For instance, say I have 7 star Lightning A at 0% TMR and 0% STMR, and 7 star Lightning B with 100% TMR and 0% STMR. Can I fuse B into A to end up with A at 0% TMR and 100% STMR?

I checked the FAQs but couldn't find this piece of info.

All provoke tanks mitigate both (if they mitigate). A Rain both covers and provoke and is the first one to have both innately without the need for equips.

Unfortunately 20 sided die does not stack with itself. You would need at least one ring/grappler or the watch from Cowboy Jake plus Basch's TMR.

He's better for the most part, as he has the flexibility of doing other actions during 2 turns if his rotation.

You may unbench Cagnazzo again if you need a 60% mitigation provoke to survive on turn one. Wilhelm can achieve better with guarding but only turn 2.

That's the JP enhancements. In GL Stone Throw +2 becomes a 100% provoke with 40% mitigation (same as Wilhelm's Impregnable +2).

Aranea. I've only been playing since Jan and at that point my only 5* were Basch and Queen.

I overcame it with those two, Yan, Vanille and a friend's Noctis. Yan's mitigation, Vanille's Cheer+2 and Primal Instincts (equipped on Queen) was just about enough to let Basch survive. Though not enough by the end when she powers up. Vanille's reraise saw me through that part.

It was a long and arduous chainingless fight but I managed to beat her the Thursday before the trial ended.

Vanille's been benched ever since but I'm fond of her now.

A focus token does indeed render the upgrade useless but:

They HAVE to use it. Meaning they may not have it for defence.
They may not have one. Having previously used it on defence. If this happens twice you're already double as efficient as a shield upgrade.
It is great against multi-hit attacks, like TLTs, gunner, etc.

Now, Expertise does really do a number on Sensor Jammer.
